Oh yeah definately!! I highly doubt that they would single out Rain, as the last ninja, so I believe that with the hints of connection with Sindel, Kitana, Jade...that Rain isn't far behind. If all else fails, he's in Konquest guaranteed.

I don't really want Rain back. He's a likely candidate for one of the hidden characters. But really, Rain is the worst real character in all of MK. The only reason he exists is because they wanted to finish the color chart of ninjas.

But if fans want him back, bring him back. I got my favorite revived. Why shouldn't they?

I don't really know why so many people think so highly of him.
He's only been in 1 game and I don't really know if that can be classed as it's own game?!? It didn't really have it's own story. It was just a continuation of MK3 & UMK3 wasn't it?

If he ever comes back then i think he would need to be introduced to someone's story in MKD first, which then may allow him to come into the scene for MK7.

But if that doesn't happen, i won't be happy nor unhappy about it.

me! hes one of my fav ninja! i also hope boon and co would add another cyber ninja, probably forst, wouldnt it be cool if they transformed frost into a cyber ninja? besIde, theres no female cyber ninja in the game yet! i also wish, if possible, they would add leonardo or donatello as a ninja, eventhough theyre ninja turtles, they have shredder as subzero, shou khan would also make a good krang. i wish thayre gonna make a rat ninja, if they do im hoping theyd name him splinter. go ninja go ninja go! turtle power!

I think Rain is cool. He deserves a chance, and a complete re-design. I bet if he is given a chance, he can will kick some major MK ass.

They don't need to make rain a ninja, he could just be an Edenian warrior, it's not like Scorpion, that his whole character is being a ninja, rain is mysterious and has possibilities.

Who says he has to be a Ninja, he is from Edenia, I'm sure they could make him look bad ass somehow with having to go back the Ninja route with him, and if looks are what makes a character good as opposed to gameplay elements in MK, then most of all the mk characters before DA sucked.

Scorpion and Sub-Zero are gaming icons and should be in every game. I realize ninjas are popular so I can understand one or two others being added. 3 or 4 ninjas is enough. I'm sorry if you like Rain but hate Ermac or whatever but there's no reason to just flood the roster with the same type of character.

I'd rather have Reiko than Rain, and we all know how popular HE is. ;)

LOL! I kno, that's why I say they should rain, make a GOOD background story (after all, he doesn't have one) And give him a TOTALLY different look, like an Edenian prince or something like that...

I dont really understand why you would say that as he was a powerhouse fighting wise (atleast I thought so) and all the other ninjas started off being pallette swaps anyway, and look where they are now. Ermac for example looks the best in my opinion in deception even better then scorpion and sub-zero. But oh well, everyone has their opinion and i do respect yours.

I agree that the Ninja thing was way overused in early games, but the games have evolved and so have the Ninja's. They aren't Ninja's any long they are characters that are being distinguished and personalized. I love that they are bringing back so many with new life. Rain was my favorite when I was able to play him, don't know why. I was consumed by the whole Edenia storyline that involved Kitana, Mileena, Sindel, Sheeva, Jade, Rain and others. It was a HUGE part of MK history and I think with MK:D having so much focus on Edenia and so little on Earth it is only appropriate that he be included IMO. He was part of that large story the whole Ex of Kitana or whatever, maybe they could expand on that. Maybe he's royalty now. Many possibilities, but there is always MK7 if this storyline continues for a 3rd game.

To please the people that hate all the ninjas, his first outfit could not look like a ninja. Many people say they want him to look like a general. He could have a head Like sigfreds in Soul Caliber 1, and ethier purple armor, or general looking clothes that are purple.

Then for an alternet he would have a ninja outfit

I do rain was awesome and he needs another chance which he will in mKD or MK7 hopefully MKD rain should be back and be better then ever revamped or new look, new story, and some old and new moves.

Scorpion seems to be a mercenary/hunter although he acts ninja like a bit

Ermac isnt even an actual human...he's just an embodiment of souls now

Sub Zero seems to be more of a mentor and leader to his clan than actually being a ninja. He doesnt even act like a ninja anymore like previous MKs.

I wouldnt mind if Rain came back at all...just expand his story and make him more unique than a typical ninja and he woud be fine with me

I know I'm for RAIN. I like what they've done for Ermac and the other ninjas, and would like to see what they could do for Rain *new/redone moves, Xtra outfit(s), a "conclusion" to his 'story',etc.*

There's a good chance he might be in 'Konquest Mode' and some reason to beleive he could be a secret character...However..after seeing Nightwolf use that 'lighting bolt' move..I just don't see an extra 'lighting guy' happening
