If you say Jade and Kitana are deadly because of their years (thousands) of assassin training, how can Mileena be different from them and how can Sindel be less powerful then the 3?

And Tanya??????? OMG, she was great in Mk4 but even Sheeva can kick the hell out of this girl!

Only Sindel can win in a real fight against Sonya.

How can it be realistic? So Sonya can kill sindel or mileena but loose over kitana or Tanya????

And besides, at the end, the styles that were given are final, meaning that according to teh story (konquest) thay learned it, so, its theirs.

Sonya could win against anyone of those ladies, but she will have her work cut out for her.

Sindel and Nitara would be her two biggest challenges.

Kitana and Jade have so much more skill and knowledge in the field than she does. They are superior to her in every way, but I guess she could pulloff the win.

Tanya has more speed than Sonya and given that she is Edenian, could be of any age and again have more knowledge in the field than Sonya. However I think Sonya could definitely take her, but it could go either way.

But then, given their capabilities and the many over factors that would decide the match outcome, it's anyones fight!

This has turned into a wierd debate. Surely this is the point of MK. You play as a character and beat others. Playing as Mileena, I could beat anyone...Sonya included. This could be very different for someone else.

it just turned in to my bitch can beat ur bitch..anyday.. none of us can prove ourselves till mkd comes out,but till then we'll keep slapping each other over who we think is better.. again, kitana is the best in mkda..i had to fight w/ some 1 online while playing mk2/umk3 about kitana being good in mkda..but every 1 seems to think she sucks in mkda...oh well ill prove u all wrong in october,if not w/ kitana then w/ the konquest character..

No! No more female fighters. I hate them and they are useless. The only two i like are Sindel because she had good moves in MK3 and Li Mei because she has awesome moves as well in DA.
Other than that, the rest of the female fighters, i have no use for.

Wait....are we sure kitana is in deception??? How are you going to prove this?

She has to have the same styles she did in mkda in order to prove it.

Im a skilled Kitana player, but Im sorry, against another skilled player who uses Sonya or in a mid tier case, Quan Chi....Kitana is dead. She is just horrible!

No matter how good you are with her, other characters are better. She is not the best.

Much better. But dude, Tanya has short range attacks, only her clock move is fast, other then that Tanya is normal/slow character.

I think MK needs more female fighters. I think the ratio of males to females should be 3:2.

That being said, I not very happy with the female fighters MK has made: Sonya was an amalgamation of Curtis Stryker's story and Liu Kang's moves; Kitana and Mileena replaced Sonya and Kano respectively; Sheeva was a feminized Goro; Jade replaced Johnny Cage and Tanya replaced Kitana and Mileena due to time constraints. Sindel wasn't derivitive of any male but most MK3 designs were unattractive to my eye.

I haven't seen the newer females in action but I have some reservations with MK's history.

WOW im glad another fan boy of sonya is claimung they r skilled w/ kitana,but of course all sonya fans say kitana cant beat sonya....bull,like i said 1OOO X'S we will prove this online in a few months w/ kitana / sonya or our konquest character..no fight is impossible for 1 character to win over the other
in mk history,we'll except for mileena vs reptile in mk2...

How can Sonya be a mix of Curtis Stryker and Liu Kang? Sonya came waaaayyyyy before Stryker showed up. She went looking for a fight by following Kano, Stryker kinda got ran over by one when Outworld invaded Earth. As for having Liu Kangs moves, I must admit that in MK3/MK4 she could have been better. But in MK1 and MK:DA she was one of a kind with her own moves and fighting styles.

As for the other females I must agree, most of them are just eye candy for the guys or female versions of existing characters.
