i didnt used to like online play but know that everybody keeps telling me that is good so i think different online can be fun trying your skills off with other people around the world

I love the idea of a Online Mortal Kombat
very rare a Online game has interested me like Mortal Kombat Deception has .
I plan to play Hours on Hours of Online play with it. I dont know how I will fair against the MK gamers of the world but I know I won't be the worst in the world .

why did you hate it in the first place. Also what could people possibly say about online play that could change your mind if you did like it. anyway, online is good. however with all the online fighting games comeing out, mkd better not rely on that and think they can get away with not changing the incredebly flawed fighting system. cause DOA online is comeing out and right now i have play DOA 3 more than i have MKDA.

Quake, Counterstrike, Unreal and Final Fantasy really revolutionized online play. I see it as a great way to play with people that meet on boards like this one. If the games are fluid enough and challenging then people will countine to invest the time to play online games. But my thing is that just like Counterstrike, I want to play for free. MKD not being on GC would be bad enough, but paying to play would be just wrong in my view. Just the nature of the games I mentioned almost requires you to stey on to shoot it out with other people online. I want to enjoy that experience without having to shell out fees. But I guess the companies want to squeeze out as much money from gamers as possible on top of paying $50-$60 for the games themselves as well. sad

In one way it's good for people that do have it and in another way it's bad for people like myself who dont have it.It will be even worse if MKD has downloadble content.Unless OXM and OPM has it on their demo discs.

lol thats a funny movie. back on topic, yes online play would make MK Deception stand out from the crowd (the PS2 crowd, n e way). though, i hope that people won't use dial up as their connection cause lag is very lethal in online games, especially fighting ones, because only the slightest slow down could cost you a match.
