I just got done playing KF Gaara for my tournament matches, and the score was 7-5 in my favor.
For all the shit about to hit the fan, the series went something like this:
I was N/S, he was Kobra, he beat me fairly.
I was Dairou, he was Kobra, he beat me fairly.
I was N/S, he was Kobra, he beat me fairly.
I picked Darrius, he picked Darrius, and beat me UNfairly.
(In round 3, he did 3, D,F+3, SS, Throw, 3, D,F+3, D,F+3, which is in my book a partial infinate, and it pissed me off like nothing else.
After that, EVERY MATCH I played him against, I picked Bo Rai Cho, and got all 7 of my wins from excessive cheese with him.
I didn't do ONE glitch combo, and I used a shitloads of walk-in 50/50s.
BUT, I did use "Darkside" Bo to the extreme, all because of that bullshit semi-infinate.
I just wanted to post it here, before he starts getting all pissed at me, to explain to everyone WHY I BRC'd him.
Frankly, he took himself out of the tournament when he semi'd me, because until that point, he was winning 4-0. Then he did that, and really, really, really pissed me off, so thats why I took BRC out.
I just wanted to offer an explanation before the shit hits the fan, as I've said. (From Gaara).

I'm not saying how I played was 'honorable', or even 'fair'. It was payback.
I will honestly say, that if you hadn't done that partial, you would have beaten me in this series.
Frankly, I feel ashamed now, after the fact, that I advanced to round two because of BRC, but I cant say how I would feel if I just did NOTHING about that semi-infinate.
I just wanted you to read that from me, man. I didn't do it "just to win", and I want you to know that. You of all people should know I cant care less about winning, its all about the games, and the experience I walk away with them. But that was some cold shit, man......

With BRC's F+2 after a throw, its not guaranteed. You ducked it at least three times that I counted. a) it's only 'guaranteed' if you are in a corner, and b) its a un-techable hit. The ONLY advantage of this is that if you SS/Throw after it, you get exactly that - a free throw. And according to KillerB's rules, your allowed one free throw per combo. So when I did F+3/Throw, and walk up, you stand up RIGHT into my F+2, then I SS/Throw, and walk-in for ANOTHER 50/50. Do you see what I'm saying? Thats why energy goes so fast with BRC. .
As for the Darrius mirror match, when I did the D,F+3, SS, Throw, I walked up, and ONLY did the B+1 pop-up man. AS you were about to land, I started the 1, 2, 4, 4, 4 combo, and if youb paid attention, I missed the first two hits. ALSO, that combo is breakable as well if you have breakers, which you DID use at that point, so what the hell man?
I'm not holding a grudge, I just thought that was some cold shit to do against me, with Darrius.
I KNEW something was coming, because when I picked Darrius, you hesitated on Kobra, highlighted BRC for a second, and then mirrored my choice for Darrius. When you did that, I knew it was going to be a dirty match.....
but as for that grudge, I'm not holding one man, if you want, I'll bow out of the tourney and let you advance in my place.
Its up to you man. Like I said, you were kicking my ass fair and square untilt hat whole semi-inf. with Darrius. Let me know what you want me to do.

f3 throw, f2 ss throw is allowed. last i checked thats 2 free throw per combo. so does that mean i can dbl free throw with hotaro and ashra?

Look... throw 3, or throw b1 are both unblockable coming from darrius. and its not like either of us went for a second free throw, i did df3 you kicked me a few times. heh we probably should have played with mics on to avoid shit like this... I don't want you to bow out, why would you suggest that?
I think we've got a few simple options here:
1. we start over
2. we continue me up 4-0 (or another score we can decide on)
3. you advance, simple as that

Dude, up until that point, your Kobra was wrecking everyone I chose. Its up to you what we do next, but if you simply just want to advance, go for it man, I don't have a problem with that.
4-0 is a big gap, and with your Kobra, I doubt I'd make a comeback anyways, so if you want to advance, its cool with me, I'm not going to argue.
However, if you choose to replay the matches, let me know when, I'll do my best to show up on time next time. *lol* Either way, I'm cool with whatever you decide.

For what its worth, I respect your decision, because frankly, I felt like shit after winning that series. I was ashamed in a way, that I resorted to using BRC to begin with. I'm not bad with him, I just don't believe in his usage as a character.

Pig, you might be right about extending round 1. We'll see Saturday night how many people have not been able to fight their opponents.
