I personally love Bo' Rai Cho. It's stupid for a guy to have large amounts of gas, but it isn't for a guy to have a flaming skull as a head? Sure it may not be "as cool", but Bo' Rai Cho's whole character is that he's a great martial artist that lures characters (and player's) into a a false sense of security. A guy that can spew up at will? I'm glad to see him use that as a weapon against his opponent's.

The whole notion of a fighter that uses Drunken Fist is a great idea, IMO. Disguising martial arts and focused movements in the unpredictable stance of someone who has no control over their actions is a great style, IMO.

I am overall glad BRC is making his return to Deception.

IMO Bo Rai Cho is a horrible character, and i never liked him. I hope he eventually dies in MK.

IMO hes a character that makes MK a little TOO humerous, something i dont like. Honestly, i dont even find his cheesy personality one-bit funny.

You know what, Dark_No0B? Maybe that's why I thought that Mortal Kombat, although still a great franchise, doesn't feel the same as the classics. Maybe it's not the bad character ideas like Nitara, but instead bad character ideas like Bo Rai Cho. The dark feeling IS gone.

Johnny Cage used to be the only humurous one in MK and even he was serious at times. I had hopes that Bo Rai Cho would be old and wise and gets drunk at times, but being a fat slob that farts and pukes every where is not funny at all its appauling.

A character CAN be old and funny without being stupid... If they wanted to put in an old guy who's a Martial Arts Master, they should have made a Mr. Miyagi look alike. That would be cool, a short old guy who can kick some major ass.

what do you mean MK has lost its edge? This game has more fatalities/ level fatalities than any other MK game... there are no cheesy friend ships or babalities, and there is more blood... Look, i dont play with Bo Rai Cho, but I dont hate him.. I like the fact that he isnt like every other MK character. let everyone else be dark and brooding and hiding some secret dark agenda, its cool that theres once character thats totally different in appearance, stature, and personality. It makes MK more diverse. And besides, you have to admit there have been far... FAR worse characters i.e. Stryker and Mokap.. anywho, thats just my two cents

That was funny. I really don't care what Bo does as long as he is a good character to fight as. Some of you guys are weird though. Taking a good wise fighter and dissing him because he a fat old discusting slob. I can't wait to see his fart fatality. Bo was a pretty good character in DA his weapon stance just urked me. The jojutsu moves were gay. From some of the vids I have seen they have been improved greatly. Morbidity isn't always good some Morbidity isn't always good. If you don't like his humor don't play as him. If you don't like him at all pay no attention to him. He is just another great fighter that wants to entertain. The friendships were entertaining ie. Subzero turning himself into a snowman. Everyone seemed to like that. Its not a bad thing to be funny. If no one laughed or made people laugh this would be a dull and boring planet. You should at least get a few giggles out of it. Okay I am stopping I have typed to much.

Mokap didn't really belong to the Storyline. But listen, some may disagree, but putting Bo Rai Cho into Mortal Kombat is like putting Super Mario into Resident Evil... It ruins the mood...
EDIT: Everyone compares Bo Rai Cho to friendships. Aggreed, Friendships were made for comic relief, but in reality, based on the storyline itself, most of the friendships wouldn't happen to the MK characters, it wasn't cannon, like Bo's habits during fights. I'm telling you, I'm sure that the character would get a lot more fans if Midway didn't include at least the farting noises, I'd be happy if they took out the vomit, but it seemed to have made some people happy.

Just a while ago I posted a WHOLE bunch of reasons, why Bo'RaiCho made perfect sense, and why he has AN EXCELLENT STYLE. I won't go into that again, check for the thread called Bo'raicho, the reasons behind the madness (or somethin like that). His technique makes perfect since, and yes it is a little funny and can be made light of, but in reality IT WORKS! Believe it or not I got a whole BUNCH O' people to see the light, and the 2 who bitched had no sense behind their hatred of Bo! Sure he farts and I'll agree that may be over the top (in deception THEY REALLY toned that down.) MK has always had humor, and Bo'Raicho has been named a fan favorite in more then one preview, so lots of people like the guy! It seems like everyone who doesn’t like him is obsessed with MK being EXTREMLY dark. I say GIVE IT A REST. Many, MANY people like him, a guy that BURNS people to death isn't all that "light" if you ask me (we call that DARK humor), and if you don't like him fine, but remember I'm sure you get pissed when people talk shit about your favorite character, and EVERY character in MK has been busted on by someone who didn't like them! Bo is a good character and those who are bustin on him sound like the immature ones!

Bo'RaiCho IS old and wise, his whole style (everything from throwin up to drunkin fist), involves messin with the persons head. If you were fightin him and got puked on... what a great distraction. That would mess you up. Also his whole drunkin fist style, makes you think he's slow and clumsy, then BAM BAM BAM, your down! These threads are just getting stupid.Why not have him in it?Is it because you might just suck bad with him?I mean his storyline i think is good and with enough practice with him,he can be one of your best (anybodys).I don't find the reason you give to be any good in why he shouldn't be in it.He's not one of the better characters true,but like i said.You can make him one if you learn to use him well.Same goes with any character.

All right sorry, must of mistaken you. yea his farts are over the top, like I posted earlier, and I can see how a few people may get offended by them, I don't think he deserves all this flame for just that one little fact. It isn't that big a deal, and I guarantee that 94% if everyone that played DA laughed the first time the knocked him out and he busted ass. There is nothing wrong with anything in MK You guys found Ermacs Hari Kiri funny Bo does something not involving death and you guys don't like him. Now that I think of it, if I were in a real fight and my opponent was throwing up all over the place, I really think I'd run away.

BoRaiCho's Drunken Fist, however, was really confusing when used. I hated it, because I didn't know where I really was, because Bo was constantly moving around.

I hated Bo in MK:DA, but I think he will be pretty cool in MK:D.

Why do people want to persuade other people to think the way they do? I don't like Bo, you do, let's agree to disagree. For the record, you were mentioning what if real life was like MK, well, then it wouldn't be cool, Boon himeslf waid, "No one wants to pay for reality."

some people don't like him, but then complain that some other characters are too similar. the nice thing about bo is that he's unique.

MK losts it's 100% seriousness the first time someone punched the opponent in the head causing the opponent to lose a pint of blood.
