Well, seeing that he killed the wrong person for the murder of his clan and family,perhap's he can try to make it up to the younger sub-zero.

I always thought it would be cool for him to vow to protect Sub-zero. They could try something like that.

But it would be nice to have a story change. But don't change the theme of his personality.

You can kill Scorpion. He just comes back later on. And if his Demons wanted him tormented forever in the Netherealm Scorpion would surely suffer with no way of coming back.

Ask yourself, how would MK be with out Scorpion? If the MK crew were to get rid of main characters like Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, the game would be very boring in my opinion and not only that but the storyline would be cheesy too.

Well Liu Kang was a main character and he was gotten rid of and the game sold well. That's why there needs to be more character development.

See, thats the thing. Im not saying get rid of Sub Zero and Reptile because they continuously have evolving storylines.

Now Scorpion over here has become a waste of space...he has nothing to live for (i know hes dead, but u guys know what im talking about), he killed sub zero for murdering him and he got his revenge on Quan Chi by torturing him in the netherealm. Let him rest damnit, there are people like Rain that need to have their stories developed more instead of having midway waste their time on scorpion. Who cares if hes a classic, Liu kang is the hero and they kill him off. AND LIU KANG WAS ACTUALLY CRUICIAL IN THE PLOT.

Scorpion IMO is the only character that actually has no real importance in the story. Nothing that actually makes him important, if he dies...he is in hell again, and what?! Nothing more. And if he lives....?????

I disagree that Liu Kang was crucial to the plot. See how easily Kung Lao, who's twice as cool and interesting, has taken Kang's place?

As I said, Scorpion is MK's franchise player and he'll continue to be around until Mortal Kombat ends, whenever that may be. I doubt we'll see a Mortal Kombat from here on in without Scorpion, or Sub-Zero for that matter.

I agree, Scorpion's revenge story has gotten old, but I, unlike some, don't believe that characters should be dropped and killed off just because their story isn't as interesting.

However, I'm not saying this just because I'm a Scorpion fan. As much as I dislike Sonya, as boring and unlikable as I think she is, I'll accept that she's a fan favorite and she can possibly be made interesting for a future game. Hell, maybe even Jax, too.

Point is, if you think Scorpion is annoying and stale, that's your opinion and I respect that. But there are many others who feel the opposite. So if you don't like Scorpion, just don't play as him.

Im not trying to force my opinion on anyone. I think thats great if you like scorpion(like I said earlier, I dont hate the guy), im just providing my take on his place in MK and im supporting it the best I can and Ive managed to have a few people agree with me.

The only thing I would really want from scorpion is just a freaking story change. I dont care if hes hunting for easter eggs or trying to win the tournament to meet Santa himself, Im just sick of the whole revenge issue.

Scoprion needs a story change! His story is boring and the same thing over and over yet he never manages to suceed! He has no overall purpose in MK at all. If they let him complete his task, he has nothing to do but die or go back to hell or wherever to be with his family. This is why they keep dragging out his story, just so he can stay and of course to please his many fans.

That being said, the fact that he is after one of the bad guys gives him some potential as he is trying to eliminate one of earths threats, namely Quan Chi. MKD could see him catching up with the sorceror and a showdown could happen.

If he had his revenge there is no point in him fighting in mk. His story was getting old so they Try to improve The story so he's not a useless character It's good that he's hunting Chi Bcz Quan Chi was a pain to kill in MKDA Bcz of those Stupid Broadswords lol.

Like it has been said so many times. Scorpion is a fan favourite. Fans buy MK. This is still all about money. If they took out every caracter with a lame story many people would be dissapointed and would not buy the game.

Let's face it, i think the time for story-lines are over. This is all about money these days, and Boon is trying to make a game that sells, even at the cost of a story-line.

Actually the Outworld Investigation Agency was formed to stop threats from other possible realms as well as Outworld. This opens other possiblities. So while I agree the whole Black Dragon thing should be dropped, there are still places they could take Sonya to revamp her character. These characters should never be killed off: Sonya(of course, though I may be a little bias here ), Raiden, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kitana, Mileena, Baraka, Kung Lao and Kabal Just cause he's cool. Of course this is just me, I'm sure there are a great many of you that would tend to disagree, and that's cool cause that would be your take.

Scorpion WAS my favorite character, but he never evolves, he just got lame to me, then boring, then I just started to dislike him very much.

I dont like him anymore. He is cool cause he is a classic, but still, a very useless classic.
