I was very disappointed when I heared this. I'm very happy to see Nightwolf back, but, why make him useless? I really thought were going to treat his arrow shot as an impale move.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. That would be more realistic and logical.
I don't know, maybe they want the Tomahawk to be the primary weapon and the arrows just a projectile.

it would eventually get cheap, but ya that would be more realistic

it wuld be too easy with him that way otherwise i spose
I just like the fact that you can impale them with more then one arrow
This just really adds strategy to the game
In deadly Alliance I would impale the person and just play keep away and stay away from him until he bled to death. I am glad thats not affecting the character that gets impaled with it

I would like to see the arrows have a "impale" effect. It would make Nightwolf much more of a top tier character, and would increase the need in blocking.

As true as that may be, the impale move was cheap as shit. One second to late block or if you were looking somewhere else on screen, it was pretty much the end for you if you got hit. Not to mention when people would do that crap at the beginning of the round. Realistic that it maybe, I'm glad that it's out of the game. And from what I've seen people do with Nightwolf along the lines of juggle combos, he's going to be good without an impale move.

it still looks cool though, the arrow wound would become cheap if it was an imapale move.

WAIT! it doesnt even drain a lil bit or did ne thing special except hurt u once..wow thats stupid its freakin impaled into the chest!
No the move deffintly does damage to you, but it does not remain in the chest of the oppoenent... part of this is because it is an "energy arrow" really it's a unique fireball projectile, and two his weapon would be the tamahawk.
I dunno I think it's a good move really.

i would much rather impale moves than juggle's , juggles are cheap in the way u are not even giving your opponent a chance

Meh, first of all it would indeed be way too easy then :) imagine life decreasing 3 times as fast with 3 arrows stuck in the opponent
but don't they eventually disappear because they're just energy?

Maybe it weakens the opponent's attacks or slows them down.

More of a top tier character? He already has taekwondo, the shoulder charge, and his lightning attack looks very useful, i don't see why you would want the game to be more unbalanced.
I think treating his arrow as an impale would make him what Scorpion was to MK:DA.
The impale was by no means cheap. It was given a 78 year long startup and huge recovery time specificly to prevent that.
If you were bad at the game, you got impaled, If not, you didn't. I don't see how thats cheap.
