Liu Kang was the Mortal Kombat tournament champion, he did that, he served his purpose and succeeded in defending Earth until his death. Shujinko will be our new "champion" as long as the Dragon King is involved. Once Onaga is out of the picture, so will Shujinko be.

Kang didn't really bother me. But him winning every time really pissed me off! I think it shouldhave changed every time. Like Sya, Kang won Mk1. Kitana won Mk2, Sonya won Mk3, Jax won Mk4, you know. But maybe not those characters but you know what I mean.

Pesonaly I think Liu Kang will be a villian in this game.

I think either the Dragon King has brought him back like Kitana to use Earth's supposed champion against his enemies, or Shang Tsung is still very much in control of Kang's soul and is using him as a tool against the Dragon King.

Either way it looks like Liu Kang's days of being the main hero ended when Shang snapped his neck.

I'd be very disappointed. I am very sick of Liu Kang. I never liked him and (sort of) becoming a ghost has not impressed or interested me at all and him being the hero again would leave no doubt that his death in DA was meaningless.

There can be only one... and that is Shujinko.

I wouldn't be mad, but I rather Liu just get revenge on Shang and Quan and someone take on the Dragon King.

Although I can deal with a new hero, in fact it would be preferable, there's one thing I want to see:

Liu Kang dragging Shang Tsung down to hell.

They've been enemies for so long, and somehow Tsung has managed to stay alive throughout all this time. Kang needs his vengeance. After which, he should sleep peacefully.

To say I would be totally PISSED OFF would be an understatement. I fucking hate this guy. Why couldn't he stay dead. If he wins this one Iam really gonna flip my lid. Also I don't think Shujynko is the "hero" either. I think he's the "Deception" and he brought back the Dragon King/Onaga. I would like to see someone like Sub Zero take over as the new "hero" of earth. Why is it he learns all these new powers but never "wins"?

No, I wouldn't be dissapointed but I'd like Shujinko to be the Hero.

I'm actually thinking we will see the other 'good' fighters defeated. The DK (Onaga) will win. But the last fight will come down to Liu Kang Vs Onaga (DK). Liu will be defeated. Shujinko will continue to try and defeat the Dk. Prepare for an even darker apocalypitic MK7.

Bro, I wont be jus diappointed but i'll be damn pissed!! Liu winnng MK is just getting so stale! I think suomone like Subby or Scrop should win for once.. Actually I dun mind almost anyone winning... Even if it is a new character... I dun mind Liu coming back that much but i hate the spotlight being on him all the time...

Here's a crazy idea... Scropion should win MK and become a God so that he'll always be around and MK will always sell coz he is one of the coolest guys in MK.. Then he wont havr to keep dying and coming back... Lol

Personally, I don't even think Liu will play a big role this time. That could be why there hasnt been much footage of him since the release of the Hotaru bio vid. Either that or his look is so drastically different that they wanna keep it a secret until the very end. I too believe it was his alt. outfit that was seen in the video. Also most of his moves have been given to other fighters ( Kobra has his fireballs, Shujinko has his bicycle kick). All in all I believe that Liu is back to please his fanbase. (wherever they are...)

Yes I will be emga pissed if Liu Kang becomes the hero. But then again, I hate Liu Kang. I think he sucks, and I hate that he is coming abck, dead or alive. the opening sequenece where Shang Tsung killed him was fantastic lol.

Kitan should ragin control of Edenia. Sonya and Jax, no wait, just Sonya should return to Earth Realm with Cyrax and continue to defend Earth from Outworld attacks along with Kung Lao. JAx isn't my favourite because he has a lot of stupid one liners and his character has been squeezed dry. He's completely stale. He lost his impact when they put those metal arms on him.

i think everyone should play a role and heres how, Dragon king is suppose to be the biggest threat ever right? well every kombatant should get in this one huge battle with him and they all start getting beat then when all is lost they give their powers to shujinko (explains how he gets everyone elses powers) then he easily beats the dragon king. that would be a HOT ending.
