I would definitely be disappointed .BIG TIME!

Don’t get me wrong, this game has actually made me like Liu kang once again. I think he probably has one of the most interesting stories and looks (IF he is zombie and soul).

But making him the hero again would suck.

We need a new hero. One of the classics.

Hmmm Nah I wudnt, but it depends on how the kombatants of Deception turn out cos so far I dont see anyone worthy of such a prestige. Alof of people point to Sub Zero, and some to Kung Lao but as some already know, Sub has another story ongoing and as for Kung, who knows?

It would be interesting if Liu Kang became the "main man" again, put it that way

Shujinko will probably be the hero this time.

They should make shujinko the new hero. I really hope this is Liu Kang's last game. Just give him an honourable death and bring in a new champion.

could be worse. what if they made Bo Rai Cho the hero. since he will live longer than liu kang.

Ed Boon said Shujinko is the next generation Liu Kang.
In the opening cinema of MKD, Shujinko himself said he is the only one you can stop this threat.

So yes I'd be disappointed if Liu Kang wins.

I'd be angry. It's time for new champion and since he's dead, he shouldn't be the MK champion at all! Shujinko is supposed to be in that role, so Liu can step aside and die once more.

I will be disappointed... It would had been stupid to kill him in MKDA and to bring him back in MKD as hero again... I hope really that Shujinko will be the new hero...

sujinko will be the hero, think about it, the whole konquest mode is based on him, and his journey through life. i doubt that any other character will be the main character.

wait i think the charatcer that are on the limited edition cover will play a big role as well.

Shujinko is the next generation Liu Kang? Does that mean that the team will decided to have 2 sorcerers kill HIM and then they'll have a change of heart and bring HIM back in the sequel?

everyone, thank you for your reply. the reason why i am asking this question is because i was wondering what if he defeated the DK and become the "hero" again and Shujinko isnt the hero after all. i hated how Liu gets all the glory and he SHOULD be dead forever.

I think Liu Kang should stop being the lead man. He should forfeit his title to who he thinks is the greatest warrior of his time. Liu Kang could turn into a mentor and teacher and when there is trouble Liu Kang would always be there to help.

If I had to guess, I'd say Liu is just a halping hand in this game. Afterwards, he's gonna go back to whatever dead place he came from. I hope either Shujinko or Sub-Zero pulls in victory for the good guys in this one. Or, I suppose there's always the possibility that evil wins twice in a row.

I'll be disappointed. They did a good job making people start liking him again, but they really need to give other people a chance.

I don't think it's going to happen. I believe the reason he's back in the first place is to give him one last hurrah before finally ascending to the Heavens. I think even the most jaded Liu hater can agree that he deserves *that* much.

Have you guys noticed, how liu kang was all a failure, they made him to be like the Ryu of MK, but it never succeed, lets be honest the main guys from mk, are either sub-zero or scorpion, they are the ones people like, they are like the truth soul of mk, now they are tying to bring liu back, i dont know why, but it really doesn't make much sense at all, hey sub need to win something, and scorpion needs to rest in peace once and for all, so either them or shujinko(for obviusly reasons) could be the winners this time around

I would be pissed..but not suprised if he became champion again *like:Shujinko gets killed by Onaga and Kang steps in and defeats him...how dumb*

Liu Kang is not in Deception to win the tournament and save the world. He's in Deception to give his fans a proper goodbye.

I'd be very disappointed. IMO it's time for Kung Lao or someone to take the spotlight.
