I think it'd be a little jarring if Ashrah's alternate was something like Mileena's or Li Mei's, but I wouldn't be disappointed. I wouldn't be happy about it either. As long as she plays good and has a good story she can dress however the hell she wants.

I think Ashrah is a very fresh new well thought out girl concept. She doesnt look like a slut which is very good. If she does have a sexxy alt. i'll never use it. They better not make her like a sex goddess at all. I like her that way she is.

No I won;t I barely used there Alternate costumes anyhow unless I didn;t like there primary costume.

I don't think they will make her alt. skimpy. Every female so far looks like they have been getting ready for a bikini or bathsuit contest. Which isn't bad, but, I can see where you are comming from in this topic. I have not seen her alt. either, I hope it's just minor changes to her suit and she has her hat off. That's about as much as I would like to see changed.

I made this thread because I was thinking of Ashrah doing the same thing as Bo Rai Cho(who had a lot of clothes, but then his alt showed some skin *about to puke* ). Anyway my point is that maybe Ashrah's Alt. might be sexy, and some people may hate her even more than they do; because of it.

I have only five words to say on the issue:

So far I like Ashrah overall. She is myterious as well as an interesting set of special moves. From the MK: Deception videos I've seen, she seems to be a close range fighter. I can tell she will be one of the hardest characters to use, but like most characters that are hard to use once you master him or her, your be unstoppable. Overall I can't wait to learn more about here. Along with Hotaru, Ashrah are my fav new characters I would like to try out.

i like the fact that Ashrah doesn't look like a $2 hoe (not that there's anything wrong with that Li Mei)... i haven't seen any of her alt costumes, but i really hope they don't take that route... it would be extremely out-of-character IMO

I think it's logical to think that her alt. might show more, but not neccassarly be pumped with sex appeal. But I don't think that it'll make me wan't to avoid playing with her or changing my opinion of her.
Her's my view on her alt.
Her hair is let down so it flows freely. She wears a tube top which shows off her shoulders and a bit of cleavage(not to be confused with bust).
She still wears the cloak between her legs, but it's complimented with much tighter pants, along with some black, bone boots. Her pants are mainly blue, but have white stripes going down her sides. Her tube top is also blue but has a black color scheme.

From the only screen shot I've seen of Kira, I think her outfit has a perfect balance. It's provacative, but it doesn't look like she found it in a Playmates "special" drawer.

Ashrah and Kira look to be like some very good additions to the character desigs. We haven't seen chicks that AREN'T in bikinis in a long time.

Kira is alot like Sonya, where she's dressed up alot, but you can tell she is sexy.

Yeah, Kira has a skimpy t-shirt which only shows off her stomach and pants that I think have holes in the sides to show off her legs, but it can hardly be considered slutty, I think Kira's outfit is the perfect balance. But on Sonya, I've seen my friends, who are Sonya die hard fans freak out when she should some thing in her default outfit in DA. Personaly I think that her MK4 outfit was the best. I loved her with long hair and a ponny tail.

I think that Kira's outfit, fits her perfectly with her personality. Plus she looks evil and sexy at the same time.

As far as I know, Ashrah, Aoi Umenokouji, and Rose are the only women in fighting game history to keep their clothes on.

I think that Blue Mary was also pretty covered, but still had a sexy flair with her jeans, and orange tube top.

Perhaps they could redeem Bo Rai Cho by having a female character with his shape in his place. I personally think it'd be awesome if they had a huge woman in the game. Like someone who had a ground shake stomp and a big laugh when she did it. Some big tough German woman. I think that'd be scarier than all these buxom bimbos who look the same & run around with squeaky voices doing lame moves in knee high boots. She could keep the knee high boots for comic effect even. Imagine if she had the Orchid fatality from Killer Instinct. That would be awesome & truly funny. Much more humorous than Bo's farting, which is stupid.

On topic: Ashrah's costume is cool. I don't think lightning will strike twice with her alt costume design. The alt will probably be underwhelmingly similar to her first or similar to everyone else's swimsuit outfit but something I'll occassionally switch to every few months when I forget what it looks like only to vow to never select it again.

I guess I would. Ashrah to me just seemed to have a lot more class and dignity. I'm not a big fan of her default outfit, and I am eager to see what her alt. looks like. But yeah, if it just turns out to be another "MK meets Fredricks of Hollywood" outfit, then I'd be disappointed.

I'd like to see a sort of cennobite S&M type alt.

I think it would be weird to see Ashrah have a costume like Li Mei's Alt. in MKDA. However I won't be surprise if she does!
