1) Backwards hat (Stryker-Mokap)
2) Black and Blue clothes (Stryker-Mokap)
3) Name with their profession in it-cop that strikes them bad guys down-Mokap Motion Capture
4) And they are just dumb looking (Stryker-Mokap)

Well... I already gave Kenshi, Tanya, Rain, Liu, Sindel, Sheeva a chance, and most of them EARNED my favor... (exept Tanya... not yet, gotta play as her... but things look good for her...)... so I say, Y not stryker? Suuuuure.... he may be ugly, bland, boring, with a sucky set of moves, and a concept that was rejected and made into Jax (that's what I like to say)... but he deserves a chance... at least cause I liked his friendship...

kitanas colors r black and blue. sub-zero is too.. this is what makes them great including sryker..

I'm all for Stryker to come back.

In my own personal opinion, I don't think he has been the worst character in MK.

Sheeva was much worse than him in MK3.
Rain was almost as bad.
Pretty much all of the new characters in MK4 sucked with the exception of Quan Chi & Reiko.
A few characters in MKDA sucked as well, particulary Mokap.

Blaze could be improved.
Nitara was a shitty idea!
Hsu Hao was a wank! Wouldn't even want him to improve any! Never come back!

I liked Stryker. But it might be cause I'm such an MK fanboy lol.

His combos weren't half bad on UMK3/MKT, and I thought it was neat to have more of a normal guy type character. I think they could easily write a good story for him in Deception, and he would look bad-ass with a new SWAT-type outfit.

The only MK characters I can say I genuinely dislike are Sheeva, Reiko, and Jarek. I might hate Jarek the most, he was such a useless fucking Kano rip-off. Other characters that haven't really been talked about in MK:D that I think could be badass if they designed them right and everything are Kai and Fujin, I liked both of them in MK4. Quan Chi was the only really cool new character out of MK4 though, and my opinion of Tanya in the game was just 'eh, okay'.

Stryker fits very well in MK3 IMO but he has no place in any other MK. If MK7 were to take place on Earth, then I wouldn't mind seeing Stryker return, older, wiser and REVAMPED!

I hate Stryker look, I hate his moveset and he had not an interesting story ... For me, Stryker is only a slot filler...
( Nitara didn't maybe stick on MK Universe -although, we find centaurs, demons, sorcerers, then, why not vampires? This isn't more ridiculous- but she was charismatic and had an interesting story)

Nevertheless, if Stryker is totally revamped and he inherits of interesting fighting styles , I shall change opinion if he had to be in the game... But if he stays as in MK3, a thing is sure, never ever I would play with him...

However, there are so characters that I don't love who return in MKD (Noob Saibot, Ermac, Kabal, Nightwolf, Tanya), I don't belong any more to a supplementary character near... :/

i agree with u queve. i think stryker will be a unlockable character. and i think he will be given a awesome, amazing new look and a great new storyline! well im hoping anyway. lol!

I forget who said it but I think if he revamped him with some wicked riot gear, a police baton, take out the guns and grenades(really...what was that? :P) and give him some decent grab/fist oriented fighting styles he could really put some foot to ass. I've drawn up a character sketch and will post when I buy my new scanner(day or two). He's got the potential like basically every character from 2D that hasn't yet been introduced into 3D, it's just about having originality, depth, and imagination. Of all characters that deserve a chance, I believe he does.

well I say let them try to revamp him. his look is all they really need to work on. I thoguth he had great moves in mk3 but like most people I just wasnt into the cop thing. I never had a disliking for him though. I think he can kick some serious ass in deception if you people will just take the time to give the guy a chance.

It's always been my firm belief that any Mortal Kombat character, given the right story, could be made into a fan favourite. I realize with some of them that becomes more difficult, but not impossible. ;)

Stryker aint ever comming back he has been replaced by kai in mk4, mokap in mk5 and looks like kobra in mk6.

And Tanya sure she wasn't original but she kicked ass in mk4 and her fatalaties were good. She was heaps of fun to play as, look forward to seeing whats new with her.

Tanya was original. She had her own set of moves and story. She didnt even look like Kitana IMO.

About Stryker, its obvious many hate him, but I think we will see him return. The team will give him another chance, just like they did to Nightwolf, Tanya and others.

Stryker just does not fit the MK bill. He just seems like an annoying character thrown in as an asshole.

Bad characters are created by lack of originality, poor storylines, poor moves, poor looks and lack of interest in these characters from fans. Stryker is an example os these things. I admit he was fun to use in game but had nothing going for him aside from that. His story sucked. They never followed it up as I'm sure they knew just how bad a character he was. He could return and be popular, but they have their work cut out for them. Most would sooner see him dead.
