Weapon style: Nightstick. Kind of like a one-handed Kali stick deal. Not as fast but more powerful.

Give him a dignified haircut.

Projectiles could be grenades, tossed straight.

Much better fatalities, and a better storyline, combined with these things, would make Stryker welcome again in my book.

Make him a determined hardass, instead of a confused wanderer, like he was in MK3.

You took the words right out of my mouth. There are more crappy characters out there then Stryker. In MK3/UMK3, Stryker was a pretty good character to use. His combos were nice and his moves were effective.

Fujin,Jarek,Mavado,Hsu Hao,Nitara,Bo Rai Cho are all worse characters to me.

I welcome Stryker back if he has a more stylish cop outfit on and fits more with what's going on. His movelist can stay, that was fine from the start.

I prefer largely Nitara rather than Stryker... Just need a bit training...

I also prefer Nitara, hell, I prefer a lot of many other characters then Stryker. But I think, if Tanya and others were given a chance, maybe Stryker can also return, and maybe, just maybe, shock us all!

Stryker will never redeem himself in my eyes. Also what are you talking about "the respect he deserves" when did he earn any respect that he didn't get? He had a lame unimagitive storyline and he looked as if he was recently hired as the newst rent-a-cop at the mall. I'll never liked Stryker i'm a little madd that hes even in the backround of the prison stage. Only way i'd be happy to see him is if hes being beheaded in the backround of a stage. I agree that he should look more like a S.W.A.T. team memeber...back in MK3. Stryker has no place in MK back then or now. Kill him and lets forget about him.

Stryker is total shit, and I don't think there is any way in hell that he can become acceptable in my eyes, ever (Just like Jax and Nightwolf). IMO, Ermac, Tanya, Mileena (never really been a fan of her, myself)and Baraka (same as Mileena) have always had HUGE potential, that has already been discovered thanks to MKD. However, Stryker is truly hopeless, because he represents everything I hate about MK. He's a chop, he looks stupid, he doesn't seem to know any martial arts, he uses guns, he relates to no other character in the mk universe, thus, he's absolutely irrelevant and pointless, and he wears a cap. What attracted to me in MK were the ninja clans, the ancient mythology, the martial arts, the combat, the spiritual, mistifying arenas and atmosphere. I fucking hate the special forces. I fucking hate Jax's stupid fucking machine guns and robotic arms. I fucking hate Cyrax's ugly 'human' form, I fucking hate the special forces, and I fucking hate the special forces. MK was fine until MKII, because until MKII, everything felt MK. Ninjas, japanese gods, sharp blade sicing, slicing hats, monks, japanese weapons... then in comes MK3, and lord knows it's when things started to suck. And why? We get robots shooting missiles, men with robotic arms, ridiculous fatalities that are obvious influences of american cartooniness, etc. And MKA, the second MK movie, sucked- what a coincidence, that it is also where Jax gets his robotic arms, the robots make their debut, the special forces become more involved, with Sonya wearing her military-ish outfit and fighting in military laboratories.

Now let's slide Stryker into some SWAT-like equipment. Cool armour, cool, commando equipment and gears. Awesome. For a diferent game, maybe. But not MK.

lol I agree with Zentile on this one. Stryker simply isn't MK material.

oh come on. Stryker really wasntthat bad. sure his bombs and gun moves were cheap shit but if they gave him sm new poice tyle clothes maybe a bullet proof vest and some sweet moves h would be decnt to use. but to labe hm the werst chaacter s kinda pointless. The werst character ever has got o be Sheeva or Chameleon. thety shoulda just kept goro ad, bu istea they addedboobs nd made sheva.

whats wrong with stryker, his story was good in mk3, also its cool to see a guy with no special abilities to fight against mutant, gods and things like that. by the way what makes him worst than kabal, at least him doesnt has to use respirators cuz he got his ass kicked really bad.

I say we throw Stryker and Mokap in a steel-cage fight-to-the-death match and see who walks out as the King of Suck.

Seriously though, Stryker embodies everything that was wrong with MK3. That is without a doubt, the worst Mk ever and it ranks down there at being the worst fighting game ever...and I played Shaq Fu.

I think he may be able to be salvaged though. If the robots can become fan favorites, then 'Stryker the Chumpus' can. I agree, SWAT riot gear instead of the goofy looking rent-a-cop outfit, the police baton nightstick as his weapon and some bone-crushing attacks may be just enough to redeem him in my eyes.

Im not trying to be mean but who r u to say that Tanya and Stryker are the worst MK characters in history. They happen to be some of my favorite characters.

I happen to LIKE Stryker and I want to give him a chance! Tanya happens to be one of my fave characters.

But hey, its no secret they are 2 of the most hated characters in Mk, reason why I used the words I used. I also don’t understand how they think they are worse then others.

Tanya is amazing.

And Stryker is just ok, not my fave, but not the worst.
