More new characters. That's the first thing I always get excited about when a new MK comes out. I always try them first though, to see who they are and how good they are.

So far, the only character who looks even remotely NOT like a rip-off is Hotaru. I'd prefer classic characters than new. They need better new character designs.

yeah i'm one of those people i want as many classic charactors as possible (reptile, rain, reiko the three R's)

I prefer to have the game in my hands. Right now.

Yeah ,almost all of the newer characters were crappy. Although some were original ,they weren't that "fun" ,and story wise uninteresting.I prefer both new and old. I mean Fresh new faces ,as well as friendly faces I'm comfortable using.


Wouldn't it suck if MKII had all new characters with no one you knew or knew how to use? You couldn't get into it ,it would be too unfamiliar ,as if it was a completely different series. Classic characters are what makes it great.


What would MK be without Shang Tsung ,or Reptile? It'd be like the Simpsons without Bart or Homer.

Hotaru looks BADASS. I love his look except for the flags. His fatality is the shit. But I want to see some old characters(have been in at least 2 MK's) such as:Quan Chi(you just gotta admit he was the shit in MKDA except his HORRIBLE fatal he should get his leg beatdown back), Reptile(MK2) although he is the Dragon King, and Shang Tsung(with his MK2 soul steal and Kintaro morph)

There will be a mixture of both. Classic characters more so then new ones. That's the way I see it.
I hope Kano will at least come back.

I think the majority of the characters should be classic, but there needs to be some new blood in MK. We may not enjoy them in this game, but in the next installment, they'll be favorites(such as Kenshi).

So anything below four is too few, IMO. I think between four and six is a good amount, to keep the line-up fresh. Anything above that is over-kill, anything below that is hardly a sequel(Why make sequels if you're not introducing new elements?).

I think 10 is most appropriate. They almost always introduce 10. You have 5 new characters, 3 secret characters, a Sub-Boss, and a a boss. The ratio of Old to new should be between 2 and 3 to 1.

It seems that if the new characters are done well, there doesn't have to be as many of them. So, I guess I'm for quality over quantity. I like it more when a classic character is redone or upgraded to be even cooler than before.

I prefer the classics. There are already so many MK characters that can be used. I think there should be from 3 to 4 new characters in each game.

I'd like to see at least eight new characters, which would be one third of the main cast of MK:D. I'm tired of a lot of the old characters, and I want to spill some new blood. I guess I have more faith in Midway's character designers than others.

I like it the way it is. Half the character roster is Old ones and the other half is New Characters. And I am glad that Sub-Zero and Scorpion will always be in the Classic (old) character roster for the future Mortal Kombats.

I'd say half or preferably more than half of the characters to be classics. The rest can be new. I'm skeptical with new characters because of their usual poor story. Stryker, perfect example.

I dould love to see all of the characters ever made into a MKT2, even tho the stories are mixed up as long as the game pwnz!!!!

They should actually kill off some characters before they make so many more to where everyone will be mad that a character isn't in the next game that isn't dead.
