Would you WANT the return of Animalities, Babalities, Brutalities, or Friendships?

Granted, they were pretty neat back in the SNES-days, but games have evolved, and I think putting thinks like that back into the game would actually detract from how "seriously" the game should be taken. It brings up the question of whether or not MK is a parody of itself, or should be thought of as a top dog among the other fighters. That's my opinion. Share yours. Fatality.

I didn't mind the cool Animalities and savage Brutalities, it was the Friendships and Babalities that I thought took away from the game.

I don't know. I found the Brutalities to be rather boring and bland, like long-winded "Killer Instinct" combos with flying body parts (okay, that DOES sound kinda cool...), but the Animalities were a mixed bag. Sure, Liu could turn into a dragon, but some of them were just stupid. Wasn't there a Penguin, Frog, Rabbit, Skunk, Anteater, and a Hedgehog? I don't know about you, but those were kinda lame. Fatality.
I think the animalities would look very deadly in 3D. Just as long as they make the animals vicious and use only deadly animals unlike frogs and penguins etc.

I wouldnt want to see animalities return, and babalities are just flat out stupid IMO.

I think seeing brutalities in 3D would look pretty sweet, i'd welcome it. But i wouldnt want the whole after effect of the opponent exploding into dozens of bones, it just doesnt look right IMO. It should be done KI style, or maybe at the end of the brutality you uppercut your opponent and he/she stays up in the air for a bit and falls down with a big splat which makes a HUGE puddle of blood when they land.

Despite what people say, i actually liked the Friendships, MK always does have some kind of humour in it. I would love to see Friendships return.

Friendships are the only thing I would want to see return. Everything else was either horribly executed or a simply a bad idea.

A lot of users complain that friendships were dumb, and that MK should have "TeH SerEus AtmUSphere." But truthfully, everyone who grew up with MK knows that Mortal kombat is incomplete without a sense of humor. Ever since Raiden said "Have a nice Day!", MK has had that tad of humor.

Babalities should never return in the MK games. They were funny when I saw them for the first time ik MK 2, after they never should have returned.

Brutalities: Li Mei has some kind of Brutality as a fatality, so these won't return for every character. Which is good, they were all the same.

Animalities were pretty cool. They were at least original for every character. In MKT some animals were soooo stupid, it was too hard to come with nice animals when you have a lot of kombatants. Seemingly there will be a lot of kombatants in Deception, so do NOT bring back animalities!

Friendships were fun, back in the time MK wasn't that serious. Now they want to be erious, that mans to leave out friendships. Too bad, though.

I'd like to see the Animalities and Friendships again only if the Animalities are up to par with the Fatalities, and the Friendships would have to be witty and entertaining.

If it were up to me, only the Brutalities and Animalities would come back. Although, not everyone would have them! They are the only two I wouldn't mind seeing back.

Friendships and Babalities were just awful and shouldn't be in MK.

If Friendships were twisted so that they were actually a mix of brutal and humour, then they could be better and would be perfect to return imo.

Brutalities shouldn't have the explosion adn should be more KI Ultra combo like. However, we should see the damage inflicted on the opponents body. their body should be badly disfigured and close to breaking.

Animalities should return, but be only for certain characters. And the animals they morph into should be really cool, huge creatyures or cool small creatures that are capable of inflicting a horrible death. In the case of some characters like Nightwolf, rather than morph, they could summon some animals to attack for them.

Babalities should never return! They were a very bad idea!
I think we need to keep MK as dark as possible...I got kinda bored with Friendships and Babalities, and like a previous poster stated...I'm all in favor of bringing Animalities back...but only if they're intimidating creatures, no stupid penguins and frogs.

Yeah, It'll be cool for Nightwolf to summon a pack of wolves to tear his foe to shreds.

Animalities and Friendships should return. But I only say Animalities if they would make the animal look real instead of glowing and make the animal fit the person. Plus they would have to be unique and not just maul them to death like alot were.

Friendships are just plain funny and kool. I like to see what a character does depending on him or her.

Brutalities were boring since they are all the same except the combo and while I did like Babalities somewhat, after seeing everyone once as a baby those got very old quick.

Fatalities- YES
Hari Kari- YES
Friendships- YES
Animalities- YES
Babalities- NO
Brutalities- NO

I would have to say Brutalites. Sure they are hard as hell do , but it was funny as hell to see it. Also when it comes to online, it would be like the coolest thing to do against another player, especially if MK: Deception allows for a few spectators that are allowed to view the fights online.

I would like most of these finisher moves return depending on the character you choose.

Liu Kang and Night Wolf and Quan Chi should be the only characters that perform Animalities. Liu Kang would transform into a dragon, Night Wolf would transform into a werewolf, and Quan Chi would use his sorcery to transform into a mythical beast.

Friendships should be performed by all of the characters in MK: Deception but they could be performed only on characters that are on the same allegiance.

Brutalitys could be performed by ferocious characters. Drahmin, Baraka, Reptile, Mileena, Moloch and new characters that fit in that personality. Instead of beating the opponent untill they explode, each character should have their own unique execution of these finising moves.

I don't feel that Babalities should be in Mortal Kombat if you just turn your opponent into a baby. However, it would be so shocking if the person who performs a Babality kills the infant form of the character. It would take an evil sinister character to perform something like that. This would be disputed all over the nation and Mortal Kombat would probably obtain the crown of the most brutal and horrid game of all time. I feel that if this was incorporated in a Mortal Kombat game, it would change alot of peoples' perspectives on video games.

I would want to see animalities, brutalities and friendships back but not babalities. If they bring back animalities the animal has to go with the character and it has to look deadly. It cant be Scorpion turning into a penguin, thats just lame and stupid. I like brutalities and it looks like there going to be back by seeing Li Mei doing one in the fatality video that we saw. Friendships were pretty damn cool and a nice comic relief from the serious part of the MK universe. Babalities are just plain stupid... I hate them, whats the point of turning your opponent into a baby? The MK team shouldn't bring babalities back... ever!

Peace Out

i wouldnt mind to see a friendship but hopfully they'll make it so that the opponent gets hurt. Like if Scorpion has that jack-in-the-box something will fly out and hit the opponent or maybee slice off their head even

If they were done in a dark and tasteful way without cheesing it up, I wouldn't mind them at all.

Personally, I would just do a Fatality.
