The Xbox 360 D. pad is horrible for fighting games in general. Just the way it's made I guess. I have VF5 for PS3 and 360, but I can play a lot easier and pull off harder juggles on the PS3 pad than the 360's.

Say Halo, Fable and all other exclusive Xbox games were for PS3 also... would there even be a reason to have a 360? smile

In other words... I totally agree.

I find the 360's controller better for everything else but fighting games so yeah. That's the only thing that the 360's controller doesn't feel right for. So I'd take the 360 anyways. I don't need an overpriced blu ray player with shitty games when I can get an HD DVD player with awesome games wink

Haha, overpriced?

Xbox 360 Elite = $450
PS3 80 GB = $400

As for the "shitty games" part... do you even know what you're saying??

The PS3 is an obvious better investment.

Thats why I bought it on PS3.

Thank you so much for stopping by an Xbox 360 controller thread and giving us information that has no relevance whatsoever. Thumbs up to you buddy.

That's why I got a PS3. Plus, I think it's the better system.

I'll answer everyone's questions about using sticks.

I personally own a Hori EX2 and a DOA4 Hori. Both are the same stick and both work fine with this game.

My personal setup on the stick:

B: Attack 1
X: Attack 2
A: Attack 3
LT: Attack 4
Y: Block
RT: 3D Movement

Midway enabled macros for this game, so you press a combination of buttons to do throws and Rage. This is what I press on the above layout to do moves:

B + A: Throw
X + LT: Klose Kombat
Y + RT: Rage

Everything can be done in the game through this layout, though I still have to find the macro for doing super moves in free fall. For now, I just press the RB on the top of the stick as it does not require strict timing.

Ok... get the highest possible priced Xbox and compare it, instead of saying hey, I can get a 360 for $200, cheaper than a Wii.

Riiiiiight.... let's get this back on topic instead of intentionally coming in a 360 thread to start trouble, alright?

It's not the sticks fault, you just have to get adjusted to MK's blocky/slow feel. The stick itself is as responsive as the game allows it to be.

Another note:

I found out how to do a super move in free fall without using RB. Just hit B + A if you are using my layout (the combination used for throwing), and it'll activate the super.

Thanks for this. This is what I was after.

I use the hori stick. It works great but the only problem is when you do close combat or falling combat the buttons will default back to the Soul Calibur Layout. Meaning your X,Y,A,B will be A, B, X, Y during these times. But for all other combat the buttons map themselves to what you change them to. I've also done the mod to one of my dpad's where you sand down the inner ring and it works pretty decent. You may also be interested in the XCM Shell that has a re-done dpad thats more responsive. Im going to order one this week and see if they're good or not. PM Me any questions.

The regular 360 is only around $200 friend. You don't have to go out and buy the biggest one they have.

Oh really? Well tell me something the PS3 has that's just amazing. We all know Haze sucks, and Heavenly Blade is just a God of War ripoff. Little Big Planet will only appeal to some people. I guess if you like Metal Gear Solid 4 you've got something. Until God of War 3 comes out I wont even consider buying a PS3.

Oh and PS3's online sucks :D
