So remember when Morgan Webb gave MKA a 2 outa 5 back in October. Well I guess the they all loved the endurance mode and Khameleon because they just gave the Wii version a 4 outa 5. WTF. They even said that the classic controller was the best set up so it was basically the same game they reviewed. Im so surprised this show is still on the air. >:(

They have a team of reviewers that write reviews that Adam and Morgan read into a microphone. For whatever reason, one reviewer thought it was good and another hated it. So what?

Yes, X-Play does suck. They're so desperate to force humor every two seconds down your throat that it's borderline unwatchable.

Xplay, Cheat and Star Trek(both the original and Next Generation) are the only reasons, I watch G4.
When they stop with the Anime, I was turn off to G4/Tech TV.

obviously its safe to say that replay value goes into a games score. especially a fighting game, in my opinion MKA didn't have alot of replay value...at all. i was finished with the game in a few weeks.
i'd would've rated it higher too if i had something to keep me playing it. hell i would've played it more if it wasn't the same old 5 arcade ladders.

I think Adam has no right to critisize any game really, his lack of hair and knowledge of game design is an insult to game creators everywhere.

It's called online play man...believe me, well if you're any good or can compete and you have access to play it online you would feel different. Yeah, I finished the game in a week and a half but since I also have online It instantly offers high replay value because I can play other players online, therefore expanding my comp.
For the thread, well I've seen the show a few times. Seems average at best, like one guy in here said the chick is hot on that show.

I watch X-play, but they're all too sarcastic on that show. But some of the skits they do are funny.

on G4's new show FREE STUFF they were giving away Mortal Kombat Armageddon for the Wii a few weeks back. I'd say that the high score is them just kissing ass so Midway will continue to give them free product to promote their new show. or it was a trade off: give our game a high score and promote it and we'll give you a game to give away for your new show. When I saw them giving it away I had to wonder why Midway would do it when they gave the previous versions such a bad review, but I digress.

Reviewers are biased plain and simple

I like Xplay. A lot of reviewers are going to have different oppinions. Its just how life works. OXM gave MKA a 9.0 and the Xbox game of the year award. Gametrailers gave it an 8.4. Some people like it. Others dont. Its that simple.

but online play is flawed not to mention all the scrubs and cheaters you have to go through. oracle Wrote:

online play wasn't meant for competitive video games.

I actually take Sesslar's reviews more openly than Morgan Webb's. He's been around longer and at least has some kind of knowledge of gaming where as Morgan Webb is just completely snide and irritating. They only reason they keep her there is because she's attractive.

x-play is good but some of there reviews i question, like the mka, spider-man3 and lotr the 3rd age. mka deserved alot better than 2/5

Morgan is such a fox. I, just like all of you, am a huge Mortal Kombat fan. However when i first played MK: A i was not very impressed but when i played the game for a cople of weeks and i realy started to like it. I bet it was the same for X-play. They just had to let the game grow on them.

Morgan Web...Hot, but dumb to give an MK game a 2...
About Me
I need a new sig, something with Kabal from UMK3 would be sweet. Just imagine that here

Adam and Morgan don't actually write the reviews, or even play the games.

All right seriously, there is nothing wrong with Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb doing this. Maybe the interactivity and fun of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon on the Wii was enough to give it a score of four over five.
And anyone who says retarded things like Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb do not play the games or write the reviews, needs to shut up. They rule, and the only reason you say things like that is because you hate them for ranking games you like, low.

Only thing I watch on G4 is con-coverage...
Be it E3 (Which they're covering right now) The Tokyo Gameshow, Comicon, The Star Wars Convention, The Porno Convention...
G4 usually does looooong coverage specials of the major nerd-cons across the nation, and while the hosts are at times mildly annoying, I still like to see all the new crap that's happening at the shows.
I dig con coverage.
Since the only con I ever goto is Wizard World Chicago (Since I live 15 minutes from it) I love seeing other cons on TV, to get me all psyched up for my local one. I also just like to see the hot new nerdy crap that's happening out there.
PS. I also watched Code Monkeys after the E3 coverage ended last night, and I must admit, I found it rather humorous, and will probably watch it again.
