I guess my argument would have been more valid if I played on NTSC PS2. However, there are great players on PAL PS2 and whoever thinks the world ends in North America should try and take a trip across the Atlantic.There are great players on PAL side. Many as a matter of fact. However, most of them were originally XBL players but MKA never got released on PAL XBOX so that kinda screwed things up and many deserted MKA due to PS2 BS.

On which console is better; Even though I own a PS2 and an XBOX, let it be known that I've got no special alliance with either of them but pound for pound XBOX is head and shoulders above PS2. That's a fact dude! The setup for online play is much better, not just for MKA but for most online games. The fact that Sony has no centralized Server to control and administer live play is what kills this argument.

Xbox had/has people who can match them I'm sure, problem is they don't play anymore and there's less players on xbox so the chances are less.

B N R was insane in MKD and definitely had the best N/S hands down on both consoles from what I saw, and he beat most of PS2 players and xbox except for m2dave I believe.

I would go over there but PS2 to me is crap, played it at my friends house and couldn't stand it. The lobby is cool, but I kept getting dis, lag was worse and you can't block KAK I just hate PS2's online overall...not the players but the console is a joke online IMHO..

Way back in MKD I knew I could compete against anyone in MKD for sure, since only B N R was the one guy I could not take down in that game online. Alexie is a hell of a player also but hardly goes on he's always been good, Malone is pretty damn good, KF garra used to play, eazytobeat I'm sure can take on anyone from either side in MKA, Bobby I'm sure is another who could do pretty well on PS2, pig, stretch and trax. There's probably a few more then that but that's a few I can think of off the bat.

In MKD there was more comp on both systems for sure. MKA lost it' flavor months ago...



P.S. I've noticed there's this debate over PS2 vs. Xbox tech wise which is better. Xbox is easily, fact. Better graphics, better online moderated system, better games online in general and if you cheat or mod=you're banned unlike PS2.

the only ONLY reason its more apparent on the PS2 is because theres more players. your more likly to play a laggy person then on the xbox where theres is a fraction of players.

this lag argument is stupid. i already showed how bad mine and bones connection was on xbox and how much better it is on PS2. its still isnt great for him and myself, but its playable on ps2. on xbox it wasnt playable.

It's not the same for both systems..I couldn't even connect with one whole match when I played on PS2...yet on xbox I can, the xbox is just a better system then PS2. I'd have a better chance connecting to someone on xbox with 1 star which is pretty bad... I know some of you guys like it and have it but swallow the PS2 pride already and come to grips with that. Xbox is the superior system. You're allowed to cheat on PS2 which is dumb, xbox you're banned if you try it that's why the 50 a year is well worth it and there's patches, better online games etc. The only reason there's more PS2 players is because Sony PS2 came out before Xbox, online is free and PS 2 sold the best out of last genre, that's not the same now however...

The camera lol I don't like really on either system, webcam for PC is the best.

For the player thing, who cares? lol both systems have great players everyone should agree to that. Nobody will KNOW for sure because not every top level player on here xbox will be able to play every PS2 player....

And even if that happened I'd like to see that done on the wii, since that's a "neutral" system this way nobody can say well you have an edge on Ps2 or on xbox...know what I mean?

Besides the D-pad is better on the classic SNES controller then PS2 and Xbox anyway so...why not go for that offline in person?

To krazy, I said the comp is good on both consoles but obviously PS2 has more because there's more players....that's a given, that doesn't mean the comp is necessarily "better" quality over quantity, know what I mean dude?

I know PS2 probably has a 2-1 ratio as far as online MKA players but the question is how many out of that ratio are actually really good? On xbox there's only a handful, say 15 players or so how many does PS2 have? It's not like you guys have 40 players are are insane in this game from what I read...I'm just saying both systems have very good players, why is it necessary for someone to bring that up when all of us are never going to be able to play each other due to someone not liking xbox or ps 2 or whatever the case may be.

GTrax ~ FYI i hate my PS2. it turns off at random times because the plug in the back is ghetto. some times my controller falls out O_o my memory card doesnt read some times so i have to unplug it and replug it in over and over until the ps2 reads it. Im not a ps2 fanboy, i got an xbox to see if i could have a better experience on the system. sadly i was disappointed

Why is it when I log on to ps2 online it shows people are in the lobby but there is no chatting though I'm on the phone with one of my friends who is typing and it doesnt show up? To fix this problem I have to log out and log back in until it connects correctly. This happens to other people not just me, you know where it doesn't happen? xbox, maybe you've heard of it?. Sooooo xbox live = better reliable than ps2 online. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. That is a fact. Now here are MY opinions. ps2 load times are longer, takes forever to log on the online service, controller sucks, graphics are less, multiple accounts and costs extra for headset.


not to mention 33, deep kicks are more prevalent on ps2 because the lag is worse. Hell I can do them perfect on ps2 :)
