I'm sure that will change or at least there will be an option to make deaths count for good.

It wasn't better than MKDA. SCII had almost no replay value (ONE PLAYER VERSUS MODE GODDAMNIT! ALL FIGHTING GAME COMPANIES TAKE NOTE!!!) because Arcade mode got REALLY boring after a while, and the original additions that were removed from previous games really threw it off. Switching weapons hardly did ANYTHING. The wall system and ringout system were garbage. The only thing I can tell that SCII had over MKDA were
- Manual Combos
- Smoother movements
(BIG FUCKING PLUS MIDWAY! TAKE NOTES!)
And that was it. I have both, and play MKDA more than SC2, because I was extremely disappointed from all of the "ultimate fighting game" hype.

What happens if you do a deathtrap on your second round winning, what happens to doing your fatality? I hope the opponent doesn't just magically appear again all wobbling and dazed and shit... omg that would suck huge donkey balls.

I dont know whats the problem about one round dead for the deathtraps, do you guys want really that you win the first round, then beat the enemy 90% in the second, and then he juggles you into a trap and you lost the match?
And please dont come with realistic, MK is not a realistic game, most of the Special moves would kill a person instantly, so whats the problem with those deathtraps..
I am just hoping that those deathraps are not to easy to pull off, because I think that will make the game even more to a fun fighter and not a serious competivly played fighter ala Tekken/Virtua/Calibur.

Maybe deathtraps should be blocked (those which can be) until the third round. Remember the "Mercy" move? It was only doable in round three. Example: In the Slaughter House stage, maybe there should be some metals bars that block the fighters from flying into the meat grinder but lower into the floor for the third round. Or maybe they slowly lower as the fight progresses and once they're low enough someone could get kicked into the grinder. This same concept could be used for the huge Metal Stamp death trap. Now, for stages like the Earthquake stage (where the ring gets smaller over time) it would be a little hard to come up with a resolution. Maybe for the first 2 rounds, there's that dreaful invisible barrier.Also the ring wouldn't start to break and fall apart until the third round and that's when the really tight and deadly fight would evolve. And for the stage with the glass floors with the huge rotating gears: Maybe the final floor just doesn't break through until the third round. Anyway, these are just a few of my thoughts.

also there is new gameplay that can aviod you from deathtraps i will name 3.
1. your indicator will tell you when u are in danger zone and also when u are open for attck which will lead or bring u through the deathtrap.
2. Corner switcher. you can switch corners with your opponent when u are cornered, so that will make your opponent hestitant to just drill you with moves in that corner cause he knows u can either COMBO BREAKER or you can corner switch him and kill him.
3. combo breaker- you can stop a combo that is gonna kill you in deathtrap and stop it completely and indictor tells you opponent is open for attck and u can switch corners killing him.
alot of strategy will be used over these 3 simple new gameplay elements.
BTW, i like the fatalitys, some have brutalitys as their fatality said in an interview by BOON and even seen in a trailer showing what looks to be a blue outfit version of li mei.
also weapon fatalitys as seen by nightwolf.
and even rumors of friendships if you perform and finisher on someone of the same clan as you.
( i think that was a suggestion by someone, that isnt in the game)
and gruesome other fatalitys that will kick deathtraps asses.
BTW off subject, if jax is confirmed will you pick him first in the game, just to hari kari his ass.

Here's my thoughts, if anybody cares.
I myself, think the sudden resurrection after a background fatality is really weak. Getting knocked into a bunch of bugs and eaten on the first round, is alright. But having your guts splattered all over the wall.. no, that fighter shouldn't be able to continue the match.
The problem with opening the death rap after the first round has its problems too. Say you win a round and the death trap opens. You then try to knock your opponent into it, yet they manage to knock you into it instead. You will then be resurrected for the next round.
So I say, only have them available during the third and final round. I just think it would be more interesting that way. That's only my opinion though. And if that option will be available under the ''options'' menu, I will definitely set it for that. Because I do think it's sounds a bit silly being able to perform a background fatality during the first round, unless it were only a one round match, then it would be alright.
