I beat that game a while back, that was painful all the way through. But a really hard game was Galactic Attack on the Saturn and the legendary Raident Silvergun. That game was THE BEST shooter ever created, and I have only because of import on Sega Saturn.

I think altered beast is a pain. I can't get pass the 5th boss. I'm talking about the original.

P.S. I don't have game cube, but is every one serious about f-zero gx that hard to play and beat? That sounds more difficult than star wars pode racer.

Some of those missions took my at least 10 or more ties to beat, especially the hellcat mission and the mission where you had to kill like 800 Krimzon guard to get across those water bridges to the main city.

I almost cried on those missions

A game that is very close to being unbeatable but isn't is the game Contra: Shattered Soldier. I beat the entire game perfectly but i took me about a year

Both the PS2 & GC versions are pissweak and very easy to complete in less than a day. The xbox version however is very tough. And it's also repetitive especially with disarming the bombs and pretty much every level.

*sigh* i'm talking about the xbox version!!! i never even played the game ps2 or gc version since i own neither one.the XBOX version took me only two and a half days to finish.

A really hard game to beat is Super Mario Bros. if you go again after beating the game the first time and not going through any cheating warp zones

Dead To Rights was some where between hard and easy.It took me a month to beat it.There is one game that is impossible to beat on HARD.You have to have spider like reflexes.And that game is Contra III:Alien Wars for SNES.I've beaten that game on easy more than a 100 times.I can beat it on easy without losing a LIFE.Normal is sorta easy but I've managed to beat it.

I really want to beat it on HARD.I heard there is a actual ending.Instead of getting that "Congratulations Screen".

Right now Im playing Ninja Gaiden on Normal.It's been hard for me.I FINALLY BEAT ALMA.The other day.Right now im fighting a Helicopter that throws 4 missles at a time.It seems easy though.All I have to do is throw arrows.

As of right now Resident Evil:Outbreak and Splinter Cell Its absolutely imposible to get past those games. No matter how hard i try i can never beat them anyone got any suggestions. And Outbreak might be the only Resident Evil I dont beat God knows how long it took me to beat the first one. Plus im looking foward to Silent Hill 4: The room looks to be a challenge.
Oh yeah and Street Fighter 2010 my head spins just thinking about it lol.

That game is REAL hard.I never finished it.I've only made it to level 4.It's waaaaaaay to hard.I never picked it up again and started playing.

Another game to add NBA JAM '04.The game was crap but challenging.I threw my controller to the ground a few times playing that.I hate the AI in that game.Your winning then when the 4th quarter comes all of a sudden there a ALL STAR HARD team.Never played that again neither.

Captain America And The Avengers for SNES is one hard game also.I never made it out of level 2.It's too hard even on very easy.

The Simpsons Arcade was diffcult too.

WWF No Mercy for N64 was a bitch, the story mode I mean, I knew 8 other people that had that game (not to include my two cousins and brother who couldn't beat it) that never beat it.

Hey can someone tell me what Ninja Gaiden 1.1 is? I havnt heard anything bout this. I loved Ninja Gaiden and once I started I could not stop for the life of me! It was an incredibe game. I sure hope they find a way to make a sequel. Anyhow, I cant really think of any games that were that incredibly hard, then again I havnt played many of the games being discussed. Im sure there were games I thought were impossible but I just cant think of them now.

To be honest, back then on the nes, there's a few games I could not beat even to this day, and the games are, Ghostbusters,Back to the future II & III,Bill & ted's excellent game adventure and Ikari warriors.
