Frankly, the site has grown a lot, and I appreciate the fact that it's still around. You must have worked your ass off to run something like this. But, no offense, don't call yourself an idol. It's a little pompous. That said, you made a website a lot of fans came to and enjoyed, so I guess all I can do is thank you and wish you luck on your future ventures.

Well I have been going to this site for over 5 years, and I wanna personally thank you Scott. You are an amazing person. Though I never really got to know you on a personal level, but I sure as hell will miss you. I am not going to sit here and pretend like you were a big part of me or that I am one of your closest firends, but from one MK fan to another, you sure as hell deserve my respect. You not only accomplished your dreams, you lived them out. And for that I congradulate you and give you many thanks. You and the MKO staff have kept me up to date with all the MK info any one being can handle. Thank you Scott, thank you so much!

It was a shock for me to hear (or read, rather) your decision to leave us. I'm sure what ever reasons they are, they are personal, and I respect that.

I just like to say that although I do not know you, I know your work, and it is this great site, Mortal Kombat Online.

With that, I'd like to say thank you, for creating this great, great site, and thank you for allowing me to always be a step closer (and sometimes a step ahead) to the Mortal Kombat universe through this amazing, amazing site, despite being thousands and thousands of miles away. I'd like to tell you that each day, this site is the first one I ever visit, and believe me when I tell you that the anticipation of seeing some new information on the main page of this site, is nothing compared to anything I've ever felt.

Hey Scott. When I heard the news, I felt like I should leave a comment to show some respect. It's been a long time since I've posted on the forums. Looks like I've lost my old Jamaican avatar from Gamers.com. Heh, I think many users still seem to think I'm Jamaican because of that... Well anyway, you've been a great friend throughout the years. We're all very grateful for this kommunity you've made that has united so many MK fans. It's hard to believe how far its come over the years. This place has turned into the biggest MK site in the world. It's even taken you to E3! You even got to meet Ed Boon! Who would have thought a little message board would have lead to this? But of course, your dream wouldn't have been possible without the tremendous help you had from this dedicated kommunity. I'd like to thank you all for the many friendships and memories. Scott, good luck to you in the future, I wish you nothing but the best. Thanks for all that you've done.

I really don't know where I would have ended up if I didn't see the MK5.org link in the 'Fan Sites' link on the MKDA site years ago. I jumped on board and have had fun ever since. Can't deny to huge contribution you've made to this site and to the community as a whole. It'll feel empty with you gone.

Scott, I really hope you find what it is you are looking for. This website you co-created, was one... wait, not one. The best Mortal Kombat site ever. It has gone so far, and it will continue to go that way. Even though you are gone, I know you will be checking on us, you will be greatfully missed. I really wish everything well for you.

P.S. I am sure Ed Boon will probably read this, and he will be saddened.
But I know, as well as everyone else knows, that we shouldn't be sad, that we should be happy for his wish.
