I hardly post at all but felt I need to say Goodbye and Thank you.

Hey man, I'm sure we probably never interacted but I wanted to thank you for all the incredible effort you put into this website. Thanks to you and the rest of the team's dedication I've been able to be fully updated for every MK games in the past five years. I admire your drive and passion and wish you luck, even though is clear you are constant and dedicated and you 'll get far in life.

Ed Boon has owned my soul since I was a high schooler. Thanks for giving me a fantastic place to visit and learn more about the game I crave. The site is top notch; your dedication and efforts (along with those of your staff) is evident.

All I can say is I'm glad you found something for you. You did a hell of a lot for this site and without it I would of been lost for MKD. I joined a 138 days before MKD came out as soon as it came out my computer blew and I never got a new one until recently I have just returned 30 days before MKA.

Scott you have done a lot for this site I get so much information from here and spend a lot of time here everyday.

I know I didn't get to contribute that much for this site or help it out much but I tired at times but you did a hell of a lot and it was greater to have you here. I still remember your interviews with Midway before MKD and it filled me in so much you did a lot for us and all I can say is thanks and goodluck man

You will never be forgotten so if you read this just remember we all care for ya and hope you succeed in whatever your going to do so farewell man and thanks for everything even though I didn't really ever get to know you.

I remember many years ago during Information Technology class in highschool, turned on IE, and was curious to see if there was ever going to be future mortal kombat game after mk4, and after searching and searching, i found mk5.org. This should have been around the year 2000, but i gotta say, if it weren't for you, and inputting that meta in the head at least with mk in it, i wouldn't have found this site.

It's been some great past 6 years here, and i appreciate everything you have done for every member and fan who just comes by for news even though they don't have an account.

Well Scott, I have only ran across and talked with you a few times over the past 4 years or so, but we are suffering a greta loss. You created a greta thing, and it surely wont be forgottten by those who had the pleasure of getting to know you even if it was only a little bit. I wish you the best in all your journeys and directions your life takes you, and this will always still be considered your home.

Well, as the person who's going to be stepping up to fill Scott's shoes (no, I don't believe I can replace him), I thought I should say a few words...

It's been a wild nearly five years. Scott and I barely knew each other except as fellow ops on #mortalkombat back in 2001. Then, one day, he asked me out of the blue if I wanted to join the staff of MK5.ORG if I could cover E3 for the site. I said sure. I don't think either of us realized just what we were getting ourselves into...

Since then, Scott and I have become good friends as well as dedicated coworkers, and I've always been impressed by his drive and determination, especially where this site is concerned. We hadn't always seen eye to eye, but we respected each other's opinions and worked as best we could to make this site as much of a service to the community as we could. However, this site wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him, and while some of us saw this day coming, it doesn't make it any easier.

To the members of this site, I say... don't worry. We're not going anywhere, and we plan on going strong just as we have been.

To Scott's friends here, I say... don't worry about Scott. This is something he needs, and while it's a sad day that he's leaving the site, he's moving on to better things and concentrating on those things that matter most. Besides, he hasn't entirely left... we'll still see him around.

And to Scott himself, I say... thanks for everything, and good luck in your future ahead.

It's been a wild ride, but worth every moment.
