Are you excited about the upcoming fighting games?

There are several fighting game titles which have been announced at TGS this year, and I have found myself rather excited about them.

To mention a few, there's:
- Street Fighter X Tekken.
- Dead or Alive 5.
- Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
- King of Fighters XIII
- Soul Calibur 5.

... and plenty more!

Not to mention other game genre titles such as the new Zelda: Skyward Sword, Devil May Cry, Final Fantasy 14-2, Final Fantasy Versus 14, Diablo 3, Batman: Arkham City... LOTS of new games coming late this year and early next year.

What games are you excited for?

I'm excited for SC5, Tekken Tag 2, and Street Fighter x Tekken!! Also Tekken x Street Fighter, which is supposed to be more Tekken-like in game mechanics.

Skullgirls looks nice, SFxT looks cool also but I rather wait for the 'Super' edition.

No mention of Skyrim or Battlefield 3 ? wow

Of that list I was most excited for SF X Tekken but I'm kinda over it now. Recently got SSF4 AE and not even really played it yet. I might actually give Soul Calibur a shot again. PLayed it back on PS2. Was 3 I think?

Arkham City looks awesome but I will prob wait for a second hand copy. I'm not in a hurry when it comes to 1 player only games.

There has not been a good Final Fantasy since 7. (imo)

To whoever said it, Skullgirls looks great. Keen on seeing more of that.

I just mentioned the games I personally am excited for. Skyrim looks nice, but I prefer a good MMORPG rather than such single-player RPG's, unless a good story follows with it, like in the Final Fantasy games. Of course, that is just my own personal preference. I am not saying games like Skyrim are bad, not at all, I just don't like them.

And Shooters have never really seemed attractive to me, so I have no interest in Battlefield or other games of its kind.

Yes. Yes I am.

Will definetly be getting:
Tekken Tag 2, SFXT, DOA5 and Soul Calibur 5. Probably TXSF as well.

I really am more of a 3D fighter fan.

This. although im interested in SF x T, but from what ive seen, MK still stands as the best fighting game of this generation (in my opinion of course) but yea. what someone above me said, ill just wait for the "super" edition.

Battlefield 3 is already on lock! :D

Yeah. I'm most excited for Street Fighter X Tekken, but I don't know whether to wait it out for a "super extreme alpha omega 3" version that's sure to come.

Skull Girls is looking good too. Peacock FTW.

I'm excited for Deadly or Alive 5, I haven't played the game in about 10 years since it was gone off PS3, I'm so hella excited for that, one of the only other fighters I care about.

I'm iffy on Soul Calibur 5

Might look into Tekken Tag and Tekken X Street Fighter, but I'm not hyped for them.

I wish I can get into other fight games, but unfortunately all just feel weird. I mean, I tried playing Soulcalibur and Capcom vs SNK2, back when PS2 was the shitz... Though I just can't get a good feel when I'm playing them unlike Mortal Kombat.

I guess this what happens when you don't experiment.

Not as much as I thought I'd be. My money is going to Batman, Zelda and Skyrim this fall so I'll probably be missing out on Marvel for a while. I don't even know when SFxT is coming out, but when it eventually does I'm sure I'll buy it.
