Well for anybody who has been a part of these forums for a long time, I suppose you would recognize my name. As of late, I have been very absent although playing the HELL out of MKX. There is a reason for that.

I've been a member of MKO since just after MKDA and I've been quite the active poster. From fan theories to fan fiction and fan art to just plain crazy fan, I have invested so much time, energy and love into MK.

Unfortunately, this must now change. The reason however is something quite beautiful.

As of Christmas day, I am expected to be a father!!! I have built the most beautiful relationship with the most amazing woman I have ever met in my life. Day after day, life just seems to get better. I honestly am completely overtaken with joy and love for both her and my expected child. There are so many feelings and things I am looking forward to and so many ways this effects my every day life. I don't think it would be quite the complete event without me posting it on the forum that quite honestly, I am most active on.

It's been quite a journey over the last 12(ish) years on MKO. I am always here and always reading. From my time covering MK9 at PAX, Vita at PAX and Injustice at E3, I have realized any fans dream. I have become personal friends with many members of NRS, I interviewed and had a great conversation with Ed Boon and I have been taken inside the family circle of the Mortal Kombat Family in so many ways.

However... Life only offers so much time in the day and now I have my own family to raise. This is NOT goodbye but more of a "I'm going to stand in the back row and you guys go ahead. I'll be cheering you on!!!" and I'm sure I'll return for the occasional wall of text or write-up.

I cannot guarantee she'll let me name our child Hanzo or Kitana but I can guarantee that there will be a new MK champion on the way!!!

I seriously would like to thank from the bottom if my heart, every MK fan that I have ever had the pleasure to meet, speak with or speculate along with, THANK YOU. The list is endless and there are so many of you I could name but the fact is, I will miss you all. Even you, Chrome...

I'm not sure what else to say. You guys rule and I'm always here. For now, it's time for you to carry the torch! I have work to do as a father and man to a wonderful family.

I've been a long time lurker and have always enjoyed your posts. I am one of the people that are on here constantly months before a release and then gone for the next couple years. Only during MKX did I start posting a little bit. Good luck, congrats, and the forums will miss your posts!

Congratulations man I just wanted to say that I could also be a father as well and I should have made a notice on here sooner as my babality will be here in less than 4 weeks. Getting made a babality onesie made too.
