Ok as for the clones, I think there were alot but are you only asking for the ones that ended up having their own identity? hmm here are the ones I know.

Kaine - A clone gone wrong
Ben Reilly- who was originally supposed to turn out to be the real spider-man but that idea caused such a negative reaction from fans that Ben gets killed when Norman somehow comes back to life and is proven to have been the clone.
Doppelgangar- ok so he wasn't actually one of the Jackal's clones but I thought he should be mentioned nonetheless.

I know there was a ton of clones in one of the comics but I don't think they had separate Identitie's, they were just clones of spiderman.

Do those count as clones, I thought of them more as paradoxes? Oh and I realized we were forgetting a symbiote from the question before, Spider Venom.

Edit: nevermind about the clone part I remember now.

you mean 6-armed Spidey? wasn't that peter parker? he took an antidote to get rid of the radiation in his blood, so he could marry Gwen Stacy (cuz she hated Spiderman) but ended up growing 4 extra limbs... and Octo-spidey wasn't a clone was he?

octo symbiote was just in the game

Archangel's other name? wasn't it Archangel when Apocalypse gave him steel wings and turned him into one of his Horsemen? before that he was the Angel, and then got his regular wings back and assumed the Angel name again... his real name is Warren Worthington III, and was one of the original X-Men, and a founding member of X-Factor... in an alternate reality (Mutant X), he was somekind of vampire or demon type... i dunno, i never really read that series

*sigh* too many questions, lol... I answer one and then there's another blinking me in the face...

first off, are you talking about Spider-Venom or 6-arm spidey?
secondly, do you mean the Secret War?

No I was just bringing up Spider venom as another symbiote we missed in C.O.M.s first question on this thread, he was talking about oct spidey I believe. I also think he may be confusing some events of the comic and the early 90's cartoon show but that might just be an assumption on my part.

Have any of you guys collected spider-man trading cards (the comic based ones). I used to have this badass "what if" series kind of card (i think it was called Arachnaphobia, that talked about melding to villains into one. Well one card talked about King Pin bonding with the carnage symbiote. Not that it has all that much to do with what we're talking about but I was wondering if any of you guys had seen that one or others from the same series. Like I know there was another that mixed Vermin and the Vulture.

I found some examples

This is the vulture and vermin hybrid I talked about, I used to have this one as well.

So have you guys seen any of the others, I'd also be interested in information if there is anywhere you know of that still sells Fleer Ultra Spider Man cards, or anybody who has them for sale.

If you guys are talking about the Carnage symbiote bonding with Doc OC, I thought he was only in the game and his name was Monster Oc(lame, I know). But I think you guys are also forgetting Spider Man's final foe in the cartoon series, Spider Carnage.

Who, Spider Carnage? He was in the last chapter of the cartoon series, I don't remember him being in the comics. I think that the last chapter in Spider Man was the best, Spider Man met his counter parts from other demensions, including the Ben Riley Spider Man and the Armor Spider Man with the help of Maddam Web.

As a side note:If you've seen the tv show, who was your favorite cameo? For me? It was Iron Man and there was one other guy, I forget who he way, but he and i think Dormamu were rivals in a monistary. The guy used to be some great doctor but his hands were badly burned in a car crash. So he turned to majic.

i used to collect a bunch of comics and related stuff... half of them i sold, and the other half of my treasure is collecting dust somewhere... used to have these fairly old cards, from like 1985-90 (somewhere in there) that my older cousin gave me... it was the complete collection, and i saw those before I saw an actual comic, and that's what got me into them... most of my stuff is probably worthless, but I wonder... it might be worth it to go digging through the garage/attic to see what i discover... maybe some long-lost childhood relic will catch a fair price on eBay

Ok...this team is kind of old so I don't know if any of you will remember them. But here it goes:

I would like to see a brawl between the JLA...and Marvel's answer to those characters: Squadron Supreme!

Power Princess Vs. Wonder Woman Diana takes this. No doubt about it for me. She is simply a more skilled fighter. (come to think of it...there are not many that CAN go up against Diana and win!)

Hyperion Vs. Superman I say this one goes to Hyperion. They have simialr powers..but at the end of the day..Hype is just a more brutal fighter than Kal.

Nighthawk Vs. Batman *Scoffs* Batman would lay such a smackdown on Nighthawk...that really it's not even funny to think about! Poor Nighthawk! sad

Lady Lark Vs. Black Canary Ok..let's think about this for a sec and the answer should be obvious: Canary all the way! They both have similar powers...but that's all Lark Has..she can't fight very well. And in the end I don't think that either would be affected by a power they are accustomed to hearing. So it would come down to fighting skill. And Canary would definately put Lark down...hard!

Whizzer Vs. FlashThis I'm kinda split on...don't know how to call it. Anyone else have an idea?

Amphibion Vs. Aquaman(orig. Orange shirt Version) I think we'd be saying good night to Aquaman here. Amphibian is a great fighter..and I believe he is stronger than Arthur. (however were we talking 'hook hand Arthur' weeeeeeeeell...)

Black Archer Vs. Green Arrow *see Whizzer/Flash fight above*

Arcanna Vs. Zatanna Arcanna takes this...The thing about Zatanna is..she needs time to speak for her powers to work..and backwards no less! And Arcanna doesn't need to say anything for her powers to work. That puts Zatanna at a HUGE disadvantage.

Dr. Spectrum Vs. Green Lantern (Hal Jordan Version) Green Lantern. 'nuff said.

Blue Eagle Vs. Hawkman Hawkman...would...destroy...Blue Eagle! No Doubt AT ALL!

For those of you who know The Squadron series well..here's a Trivia Queston for you:

Lady Lark was with Golden Archer when the series began...later in the series: What teamate did she end up falling for?

*Bonus* How did Golden Archer De-rail this romance and get Lark back? (hint: it wasn't with Candy and Roses!)

uh, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the JLA's resident archer the Green Arrow? Hawkeye is a Marvel character, and was part of the Avengers and Thunderbolts

oh, and the answer is Nighthawk... or Blue Eagle

DAMMIT! lol your right. I was thinking of Hawkeye as in Golden Acher's previous name! Thanks for pointing out the mistake.

And no...Nighthawk is incorrect.

just one more thing I wanted to add... the JLA roster you have is accurate, but I'm pretty sure that some of the characters were not on the team at the same time...

Your right they weren't...but I was not choosing a specific time period...just different members of the JLA. Which all of them were at some point. smile

well, if you took jus the classic, old-school, original JLA, you'd have Black Canary, Green Arrow, Hawkman, Hawkgirl and Flash right?

that takes out 3 of the JLA's heaviest hitters, Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman

Actually the ORIGINAL founding members of the JLA consisted of: Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Black Canary, and Martian Manhunter. Hawkman and Hawkgirl didn't come until later.

And like I said: I just chose certain People..Counterparts to the Squadron Supreme to be exact. For example: Power Princess = Marvel's equivilent of Wonder Woman in the Squadron Books. Lady Lark = Black Canary and so on.
