All you have to do is check mark all the ones you want to delete and then scroll down and click delete IM and they're all gone.

When you click on "Inbox" look for the box at the far right end of the screen. Click on this for all the messages you wish to delete. Then at the bottom of the screen, locate where it says "Delete IM" and the messages will be deleted.

I know HOW to delete them. What I would avoid was for me to cross off every single one manually as I had ALOT of messages in my inbox (never bothered to delete them before)...

In that case, I don't think there is a way then. Most websites will allow you to click on the first email message (the top one) and then hold the shift key down and then click on the last email message (the bottom one) and it will select them all, but here that doesn't work (I just tested it out). So I think you have to checkmark each one individually.

Another thread about updating this website? Maybe it's a hint.

I tend to ignore my message inbox... which is nearing 400 messages or so.

If people have things they would like to see changed, the best thing to do is directly contact the staff, they don't check every thread that is made, they're just as busy as the rest of us, direct correspondence and dialogue with them is the quickest way to get things done, everyone's open to advice and suggestions as I've learned from personal experience.

Yeah its a pain, but please post here when you have suggestions and feedback for the site. The staff is definitely aware of the various issues with the site and are working on it.
