Nope, don't have one and never had one. I don't want one because it gets lonely here, but because I feel kinda ridiculous spending most of my summer playing games and being on the computer(not that it's a bad thing) and also, it'd be a nice change to like someone like that who shares the mutual feeling about me. But hey, when the time comes, it'll happen. So I guess I'll just have to learn the virtue of patience and wait.

i've been with my girlfriend for over a year and a half now, i really love her and she loves me its great, we do have had our problems, most of them stemming from the fact that her family didn't like me at first because my girlfriend is east-indian and i am white. But now her parents like me, we get along good. SO yeah everything is starting to shape up

After what I went through with the mother of my child, I decided to take a long time off relationships. Even though this sounds like something from a crappy soap opera, my trust got shattered. I wouldn't be able to look my next girlfriend in the eyes and believe her when she says "I love you", so I see no point in getting involved at this current point of my life.

It has it's bad points of course, I've gone without sex now for the longest time since I started having it, lol. The ironic thing is in the last 7 or 8 months that I've been single, I've had so many girls try to hook up with me that I'm losing count. Typical that when I don't want a girlfriend every girl is suddenly interested...

Don't have one and I'm going on 2+ years of being single. To be perfectly honest, yeah, there are plenty of times when it gets lonely and I wish there was somebody there (lately it's on Saturdays, when most of my friends -99% of which are involved in a serious relationship- don't wanna go out and I do). But at the same time, I take into consideration the hell and heartache I've endured (with ALL of my exes, but especially my most recent one) and all the cheating and lying done by girls (married, committed, etc.) that I know very well, and I just think it's not worth it.

The distrust has gotten so bad that the only way I could be "calm" if involved with someone would be if I could somehow keep tabs on her at every single moment. Having said that, there would be literally no trust in the relationship, and without trust, what's the point?

Yes, I do. But I'm having difficulty trusting her completely. All of my other 'serious' relationships ended badly.
1.Guard rifle thrown at my head after a year of being treated like sub-human and she didn't like me breaking it off(but my best friend didn't like his foot being run over with a car due to her)

2. Cell phone chucked and broken after breaking up with her for getting with some dude she met over the net that was nine years older than her(and her saying I dare not do the same thing to her or she'd kill me, hypocrite)

3.Getting up all over some dude, because my car broke down and I couldn't go to a party and I think she was mad at me, and finding out from one of my best friends about it the next day... she felt bad but broke it off due to her wanting to date some Nazi guy...
Three semi-serious/serious relationships ending badly... probally going through the entire thing badly... and many little flings where I was thrown away quickly or ignored when I wouldn't do them in a second...
and I was going to stay single for the entire summer, but like it was said earlier thats the hardest time to stay single, when you want to... but I've known this girl for over a year and never gave her a real chance, and we've been going out for a month now and its been great, she likes DBZ, video games, and most of the things I like... she is generous, nice, and can goof off with my friends and me when most of the others were pretty stuck up... so having a gf is good for once, but the past eats at my skull... ok enough of the over dramatics... ummm... snoochy boochies?... no?... crap

Yes. Her name is Lisa. I've been with her for about 3 years. We both love each other very much (considering we've lasted this long) and we'll get married after a little while.

I've got girls that I mess around with. I don't like to put labels on what me and them have. Its better to just mess around with many girls than to have just one steady one that you call your girlfriend.

I've only been in love once in my 15 years, and it nearly got me killed. Not only because showing any kind of emotion from my side would mean more people messing with me, and she was in love with an asshole who started a fight with me, and lost, but also because all those damn emotions nearly drove me further then i could return from. In such, i decided that i would not allow myself to feel any kind of deep emotion towards people, should it not be entirely felt towards me the same way. I know it's heartless, but so was my life, until some months ago. But that is another story.

Technically I do, I guess. I haven't talked to her since the last day of school, and had lost interest since a few weeks before that. Too bad. After we officially do break up I don't intend on getting into another relationship unless it's with someone that I actually like, and can actually talk to instead of commit carnal acts with.

Funny because many of these posts actually could have been written by me a few years ago... The important thing is to know that when the time comes, things happen and there's no point trying to force relationships to work. It's like taking the bus, sometimes you miss one but you know there's another one right around the corner. This doesn't mean to wait for "mrs. right" or "mr. right" that is silly in my opinnion, you don't know if the person's right for you unless you have more than a friendly relationship with that person, being a good friend doesn't mean she/he can be a good girlfriend/boyfriend.
