I'd probably have to say maybe for awhile. Once I heard there was one, me and my brother would probably go down to the gun store and just take a bunch of shit. I don't really know how well it would work out, because I would of might of already committed suicide, or die by the zombies.

Depends on how much warning I have to get supplies and move to a safe location and how good my aim still is in spite of needing glasses to see distant objects clearly. Getting em them the head is gonna be a *itch.

I think I have about a 60/40 shot at making it out alive.

I live in a rural community so if there was some killer virus I would likely hear about it in advance giving me extra time to plan, plus less people means less zombies. From there it's simple, load up a truck/SUV full of supplies and drive north. The further north you go the less people there are. The less people there are the less zombies there are. Find some place in the middle of nowhere with a solid structure and a near by food supply(Lake, Orchard, ect) and set a perimeter and set up some defenses. From there just wait and always give your self multiple escape plans.

That would definitely be a challenge, but I think I would have chances against it. Great amount of weaponry, canned food, a nice and cozy stronghold and a well-planned fight plan. Nice thread by the way.

I would find as many un-infected survivors as possible grab a tour bus so we could watch TV and shit and then live a life on the road running over zombies.

Silly question: How would you determine is someone was infected or not? For all we know it could take a days, weeks or the person would have to die for you to determine if they are infected or not. All because they are still alive and breathing doesn't mean they don't carry the infection.

Sure have, that book is pretty much my version of the bible :p To be fair I was day dreaming about a zombie apocalypse long before that book was published. In a way day dreaming through geography class could save your life should a world wide zombie pandemic hit.
