HOLY SHIT!!! I MADE IT TO THE FINAL ROUND OF MY WRITING CONTEST!!!!! I'm happy. Also, Florida Theater Comps turned out to be a bust. We didn't win any awards other than what we would've gotten regardless (every cast gets an All-Star cast) I responded by going to my room and proceeding to drown myself multiple times. Crazy yes. But it's better than cutting. still, I MADE IT TO THE FINALS!!!!

The show is beast, I love it. I haven't laughed that hard in a while when they were that one guy was "Oh not that." and then the main character was all "what?" then it switched to them roleplaying... hahaah

I have a handful of gay friends, but there's one I know who agrees with your views on gay pride, drag queen, and flamer-effeminate attitudes. We actually had a pretty long discussion about how pride in one's sexuality, colour, creed, nationality, and all that other stuff is just annoying and that a lot of people just take it to the extreme. It especially annoys me when people decide to live up to stereotypes about any of those things because it just makes them a living cliche; it's one thing to be homosexual and another to wear pink clothes and shave your legs or not shave under your arms and not wear a bra (last two apply to lesbians). Just because you're a homosexual doesn't mean you have to go out of your way to be the opposite of your gender; if you really are all about being the opposite of your sex, then just change gender already.

No sex is obligated to act a certain way.
If that was the case, we would, but we don't, and it doesn't even matter. You are who you are. Period.

Agreed... actually I LOVE to be manly. I am a man after all. I even like to flirt with females. Since the day they know I'm gay, my female friends act very different towards me. In the clubs, my female friends kiss me all the time and even stick my face in their boobs lol They dont give a fuck since I'm gay lol. For some gay individuals being androgynous and feminine is just
the way they are. And "being manly" is just as much a gay stereotype
as it is being effeminate. Gay people really don't need to be hating
on each other over appearance or the way someone acts. My god,
haven't gays been discriminated against enough? I have a few best
friends that happen to be gay and effeminate and I love them dearly.
And hearing people say they despise or dislike them pisses me off.

Me too. Still, effeminate men turn me off. They can be nice and funny but I dont find them attractive. I'm a masculine gay attracted to other masculine gays. Also, most gays I know find effeminate gays unattractive, even the effeminate ones.

that you just despised them for dressing the way they dress and act.
Even still "despise" is too strong of word to use to express not being
attracted to effeminate men. I don't think your effeminate friends would
like being told "You're a man, so act like one" I know mine wouldn't.
And what I mean by being manly being a stereotype is, we see just
as much of the buff, pass for a straight guy kind of dudes just as much
as you see the flamboyant gays. They are both stereotypes. But even
still I don't think anyone is trying to purposely live up to any of them.
People are the way they are, no need to try and change them.

That's bullshit. I don't have to act like anything, I do what I want, and if bigots have a problem with accepting that I am the way I am then they're free to do something about it. "Acting like a man" is part of a wider stupid macho gender role problem which is perpetuated by people who have to go out of their way to preach that we should all act a certain way just to justify their own lifestyles because that's just how they act or how they are, and they want to make themselves feel like they're "right."
I have a Y chromosome therefore I am a man. I can't add to or detract from that, therefore I can't be any more or less of a man regardless of how I talk or dress or hold myself. Think about this; if I'm wearing a skirt and talking with a lisp, that, by some people's standards doesn't make me a "man." What if I'm wearing a skirt and talking with a lisp, and I choke out a 6'5" bodybuilding cattle rancher? Who's more "manly" then? Suddenly it all becomes pretty irrelevant. You need to realise that "acting manly" is a fucking sham of a social condition, and it only serves as a vehicle for discimination against a lot of people who really don't deserve it.
So we shouldn't "act like men," we should act like ourselves. And you should encourage other people to do the same regardless of whether or not they have a particular leaning towards effeminacy and feel that's who they are or not. You don't have be attracted to effeminate gay guys (I'm not attracted to masculine gay guys), but there's seriously no good reason you should have any problem with them. I mean I hate the gay pride concept myself. But people are just people dude.
And saying that if you really like being effeminate then you should just change your gender is unbelievably ignorant. I don't feel like I should be a woman. I feel like I should be an effeminate boy. I like being a boy. Having cock is nice, I like. But I also like wearing girls clothes and makeup. So what? Anyone who has a problem with that is getting fucking vaporised in a violent anti-macho hate crime.
