I hate getting newbie messages, mostly because they ask me to be their buddy as if that'll make posting in the forum easier for them. This place isn't a chat room where you make lifelong friends, you just discuss your thoughts on a video game. Seriously, if it's not that, they ask how to play MK Online as if it's a game site...
Why don't I get messages from the female members asking me to look at photos of them in bikinis and determine which has the best looking bust? Is that to match to ask for on a Mortal Kombat forum?!

Glad I am not the only one being tortured with these messages.
One guy kept sending me messages about there being animalties
in MK2, and swore up and down that they exist. But that was after
he messaged asking how to play the game, thinking MKO was a
site where you could actually play "Mortal Kombat Online". And
of course you have those "Lets be friends" types lol. I've nothing
against making friends here on MKO or chatting with people out
side of MKO on MSN or Yahoo or whatever, but these people just
seem really desperate for human interaction. I say seek help lol.

khanswarrior15, why do you put a space between the ; and ) of a wink, yet you never put a space after punctuation? Do you notice that you do this? It makes your posts look cluttered and wrong.

I love my new phone.

I'm Back.....and i had a weird ass experience this morning...i fell asleep at my friend Levi's t Midnight last night...then woke up at two this afternoon in my bed in my underwear....
Anyway, thats not importaint...what IS importaint is that the greatest thing to happen EVER happened today....CHINESE DEMOCRACY IS FINALLY, FINALLY!!!! OUT!!
And, if i could give an Unbiased little opinion here, it is fucking AWESOME!!
However, it's NOT perfect...
But, it WAS worth waiting half my life to hear....i LOVE it...and feel that is is a near masterpiece...

I wonder if people who complain a lot ever really enjoy life...or if they're just so dissatisfied with everything that they have to nitpick to feel better about themselves.

It has nothing to do with how you present yourself, it has to do with 2 things; rank (most newbies ask me how to rank up the way I did or want to be friends simply because if they know someone in a high place they'll be "protected" or something) and gender (users with particularly feminine names get tacked onto as being hot instantly because of the stereotype that all gamer girls are hot). With that in mind, Pink_Ranger must get a lot of junk IMs...

Yeah, I had a grilfriend who was a real downer and it took its toll on me very easily. Depressing people can be energy-sapping vampires for the optimistic ones. I always surround myself with positive thinkers as they tend to motivate me more and raise my mood quite a bit.
I'm interested in buying the new Guns and Roses album simply because my friend's been hyping it up so much. I really want to listen to the tracks before I buy it though, so I'll head to HMV later this week.

I used to have a friend named Carlos Junior, so we used to call him "Ceej" (pronounced the same way as "siege"). It's easier to just type TJ anyway. Do a lot of people call you Teej?
Anyway, I noticed that lately one of my co-workers was acting randomly hostile with me. At first I thought he had problems with me because my mother-tongue is English as opposed to French, but then I noticed that he was only hostile with me if I made homosexual teasing jokes with/around him (as in, I act flirtatious with him or change the pitch of my voice to be higher and more feminine) and it would just make him shut down and act very annoyed, which is the opposite of who this guy is (the guy is usually cheery, plays random pranks, good sense of humor, and occasionally acts feminine in a joking manner); this lead me to think he was homophobic and just doesn't like those kinds of jokes.
I finally talk about it with another co-worker, who's been working with the guy for about 2 years, and it turns out that there is a rumor that he actually is gay, but is denying it and hiding it to the point that he apparently made-up having a girlfriend that nobody has ever met. It does explain why he covered up that poster of Chuck Norris in the employee lounge, which he probably secretly admires, but then again, everyone admires Chuck Norris... Out of fear.
