I dislike most rap music. It just isn't appealing to my ears, but neither is a lot of the music I hear. It's much less likely that I am going to find a rap artist I like as opposed to someone who is "alternative." People are jealous that some people are famous when they feel that they don't deserve it. You don't have to respect anybody, but I try hard not to outwardly put anything I don't like down besides stating that I dislike it or reasons why I dislike something for the point of finding out interests in a discussion. I dislike when somebody just says something "sucks" without any reasoning besides the fact that they dislike it.

A long time ago, a user on here thought I wanted him dead. Apparently he was going to have some kind of operation, and he thought that I didn't want him to come back from it.
I never did though; I barely knew the guy, had no hatreds towards him, he never got in my face, so he never stuck out in my mind. Rather than ask or confront me on this though, the guy, who no longer posts here, decided to cause me some useless trouble.
For a time, my fiancée (now ex-fiancée) frequented MKO. She was pretty friendly and exchanged e-mails with a few guys here, including this user.
Now here's the thing; after she and I broke up, he decided to chat with her, and decided to tell her that I went into the IRC and admitted to cheating on her. I never cheated on her, but this child succeeded in getting her to believe him.
That night, stressing out for exams and things, I opted to go to bed early... Until I receive a phone call from a friend of mine telling me that my ex's new boyfriend told her I cheated on my ex. Not only am I furious as hell about this, from lack of sleep, and from the fact that at this point, she and I weren't even talking and she's starting shit, but my friend kept on asking me if it was true, and I had to constantly defend myself about it, until I actually had to get ~Crow~ to come online and tell the my ex's current boyfriend that the whole scenario this user wrote was a lie.
Despite the fact that the user is no longer here, that I have his e-mail to send him a response about this whole thing, I felt like sharing it here, just because I could. Also, because I want the user to know this...
1. I never wanted you dead, so whoever or whatever convinced you of that was wrong.
2. With that in mind, you're an idiot for not checking your facts in the first place or even speaking with me about it.
3. The fact you went to my ex-fiancée to try and wreck things shows me that you're definitely the kind of guy that this world truly doesn't need and I hope that since you've done all this that you've sought therapy for taking out your anger on some guy from the internet.

It's not just rap music, it's all popular top 40 shit, the artists who clearly don't give a shit about music and only about money and fame. What's to respect about that? The amount of money those artists make has nothing to do with how talented they are. People are stupid, they'll buy anything.
No, most of them do not write their own songs. And you don't have to be a songwriter to be a critic.
That being said, I just try to ignore it, and rarely go out of my way to complain about it.

Anyone else avoiding the news as of late? I've gotten annoyed with all the doom and gloom and political stuff and just ignore any and every single news outlet(except if its Motorsports or Video games). All this "right wing and left wing" stuff makes my head spin and the swine flu stuff(which suspicously is looking alot like the "Avian flu" thing we had some time ago) is just grinding my nerves.

Good Point and Nice Argument. I'll admit There are two songs on top 40 right now that I would actually listen to, but nothing else. I guess top 40 doesn't really represent whos talented and who's not.Actually, I doesn't at all. But, I'm talking about the actual talents,(you can disagree with me on this) like Kanye West, Lil Wayne,The Roots, Eminem, N.W.A., Kid Cudi, etc. who actually have talent in some way or form and get shat on by these rap hating pricks. Do I care If you like it or not, No. You can criticize. But don't let that go to your head, Some of these rappers DO write there songs and DO have some talent, so don't say they are no talents. I make fun of DJ Khaled every day, but I never call him a no talent. He has enough talent for a song to be written and be popular with people, although a song I probably wouldn't like, a song at that. I can't do that. So, criticize all you want, there singing sucks, they use autotune, there rhymes are bad, whatever. Whether your friend showed you or you heard it on the radio or some band is friends with them on myspace, even if you hate it, just give them the respect that they had enough in some way shape or form to get it to your ears.
