Okay then, here we go. I'm gonna try to rectify this whole thing for everyone here, all at one time.
After fruitful deliberations with ~Crow~, I've been given the go ahead to finally bust down this terrible misunderstanding. It's been pretty aggravating for me to sit in the "sound proof booth" about this, seeing your comments and not being able to just....tell everybody what the hell is up with what I said.
First though, I wanna start with these things here:
It does look quite odd for it to be me we're talking about, doesn't it?
I'd like you to consider a couple things in that case:
a.) It's probably odd because that’s not what I meant, and I'm not that way.
b.) It's also probably odd, because you can't remember me ever being closed minded. Which in turn, is probably because I'm not actually...close minded.
Just asking you to consider those things. Thanks for noting intellect in your statement though. I'll try to clear this whole thing up, below.
I knew I wrote that well enough for someone to see the true point. Good eye, and thanks for being skeptical of the hype.
Toxik, you and I have spoken before a few times, so I don’t understand how you could fall into believing that this one sentence reflects my true color. I mean holy crap dude, I might be insensitive, but you know full well I'm not that insensitive.....at - least.
So look, this is not a matter of how nicely the comment was put together, it is a simple matter of people taking what I said the wrong way about a sensitive topic. It's that simple.
My reaction to the gay//primate comparison is below.
Wrong. It’s not sad...And how open are you to the concept of a homosexually sympathetic heterosexual alpha male, discussing the differences between the civil rights movements of the early 20th century, and the civil rights movement of the early 21st century, with a homosexually sympathetic, heterosexual woman?
Could serve as good entertainment, and a healthy learning experience for you if you’re susceptible.

~~To everyone I quoted, and to everyone I didn't:~~
=====================
This is a terrible misunderstanding in which part of the fault is mine. So let me own my shit.
======================
---------What I did wrong. -
======================
1a.) I wrote an “effective” punchline. Look at it again, it's exactly one sentence, and it is formulated to have an effect. What I mean by "effective" is, that statement got A reaction from people. But, in the midst of all this commotion, the fact that I wrote it, somehow turned into "that's what ThePredator151 believes". I see what happened, now read the following carefully:
That is stu-pendously incorrect on ev-er-y level. The reaction to that one sentence amazed me at first. But the more people I saw who seemed to feel the same way about it, pissed me off. It pissed me off because it was my comment that was taken, and used like a weapon against the gay people on here. Which is really fucked up considering not one person talking shit about me right now has ever seen that sort of thing from me before. Thanks for at least seeing how odd this is, Rijo mm...
Listen, that line was a part of an explanation that described the difference between this current, gay civil rights issue, and the black civil rights issues of the past. It was ONLY meant to note a mind state that currently exists in the likes of homophobes, and explains the root cause for why-gays-get-discriminated-against. THAT’s the message I meant for you to receive. You’ll read that a couple times before this reading is over.
The point I was making is that -- THIS is the difference between the two civil rights movements. I.E.: "What happened then, is not the same thing as what's happening now be-cause, dot dot dot.... I.E.: “Can you see that people feel this way about gays?” That’s what I meant.
Now sure, there are some similarities between the civil rights movements that Pink_Ranger and I were talking about, and I'm not trying to down play how serious either civil rights movement is, but they are NOT the same thing. BECAUSE they are different. How are they different? Be-cause, an ideology exists that sees gays like my punchline. Got me? I don't subscribe to it personally, I just said it in a way that clarifies that it does in fact, exists.
So now, to help everybody never get ThePredator151 twisted on this issue ever again, here are some of the surface facts you can rely on...
:: No, I do not "hate gays"
:: No, I do not think "gays are like primates", and
:: No, I do not think the struggle gays are going though right now, is any less offensive than the one black people went through a few decades ago. I can tell you they are different, and I can tell you EXACLY how they are different.
Everybody got that? I sure do hope so.
1b.) This is my fault because punchlines are easy to misinterpret. As the writer, I should not have allowed the possibility for anyone to misinterpret the actual point that I was trying to make. I see now that I shouldn’t even have allowed Pink_Ranger the opportunity to take what I said the wrong way. This hasn’t happened to such a serious degree in the something like, 5yrs I’ve been around here, and you can all bet your asses I’m not gonna let you screw up what I say again. Nobody likes it, not any of you, not me, I’m fully aware.
======================
---------What was my real intent for that sentence then? -
======================
2a.) Originally, the intent was merely to react....to this:
By saying this:
Now, I thought I wrote that^^ well enough for you all to get THIS message from it:
There’s you’re sugar-coated version. The only way I can see people taking the original version of what I said wrong, is if you just hung on the words in that sentence too damn much. But even in the original versions form, I think it’s pretty easy to see that it wasn’t even formulated as an insult to gays. And it certainly wasn’t formed like:
“I think gay people act like primates”.
That WOULD BE pretty fucking stupid. But that ain’t what I did, I pointed at something that is the root reason for gay discrimination by way of a punchline. That’s what I did.
2b.) Just for good measure, if you substitute the underlined phrase with the initial phrase; alah: "it's weird to be acting like some types of the wild primate", hopefully you get a sense for how a misinterpretation happened in the first place.
Basically, don't take it like I was telling Pink_Ranger, that "I think gays are like primates", fuck no. It was a declarative statement, meant ONLY to note the fact of the matter. Like pointing at somebody, saying their factual name, and describing what they are currently doing.
(example: "John Doe is standing right there BECAUSE...." Fill in the blank.)
Another example?
(example: “Gays are discriminated against BECAUSE...” Fill in the blank) Do you see it now?
a.) “because of [this thing right here], gay people get discriminated against”.
Not:
b.) “because of [this thing right here], Pred thinks gays are like primates”.
That’s dumb as hell, and I don’t even understand how do you get b.) from what I said unless you got all hung up on the one sentence. Idk.
Seems like, all you paid attention to was “gay people” and “primate” in the same sentence, and because I wrote it, that must be what I actually believe, right? Wroooong.
That's - what - happened - here.
2c.) Note too, that both the underlined and the original phrases send the same message. There is no "switch-a-roo" of my word play going on here. The only difference between the two phrases, is that the longer version is"sugar-coated" (so to speak), masked over, or more...politically correct. If you will.
2d.) Also note, that if you read either phrase by itself just so you can say "ThePredator151 hates gay people", then guess what? They both will make it look like "I’m closed minded and I hate gay people". What a surprise, right?
2e.) Mistaking what I said is the wrong thing to do, and you'll only come to the wrong conclusion about me if you do that. Plus, I mean damn, any one of you could’ve just....asked me what I really meant if you didn‘t know what I was really talking about.
Maybe you didn’t want the truth of the matter though, maybe you just wanted a scapegoat for or your “gay hater anger“. Well, here's what you can do:
Go aim that bullshit at somebody else. Sorry, I'm not gonna be "teh m0d wh0 haetz teh g4yz" for you. And like I’ve said in the past over and over again, I don't really give a fuck whether people like me or not. I mean, it serves me better when people do like me, but I can deal with people not liking me just fine. The point though, is that you should change your mind about trying to paint me as someone who hates gay people ( or anyone for that matter).
Jesus Christ.
======================
---------Well, Pink_Ranger quoted you, and I agree with her... -
======================
3a.) I respect her, and I generally like her too. I really do. But fuck that quote, I‘m the source of the comment. There’s nobody better who can tell you about what I say, than me.
She’s human. She did the same thing all of you did when you saw what I wrote. Which was wrong to react to me that way, because everybody around here knows I don't "hate gay people" in any way shape or form. Hell, I have a hard time “hating” Brussels spouts....
3b.) Be completely clear too. Just because I mentioned her name in here, does not mean I’m making an attempt to shift the blame to her for the comment I wrote.
It's just one of those things that is so wrong, that it's more scary than anything else to find that people may actually believe it about me. Shit, if I was actually gay, I’d probably be Toxik. That’s how fucked up it is to hear some of you people talking shit about me over this comment. You all know better than that because I voice it.
Anyway, she’s the one I was having the conversation with in the first place so, I mentioned her. Simple as that. Not blaming her or whatever...you get it.
3c.) "Sugar Coating":
*sigh* The only reason I wrote that comment so bluntly, was because Pink_Ranger said she didn't like that the girl in the Miss America pageant, "sugar-coated" her answer about gay marriage. So?
That’s not saying it’s “her fault I wrote it”, No. Hopefully it just makes you understand “why the line was so potent”, and gives insight into “what was I thinking” before I wrote it.
1, then 2, then 3....You see the sequence of events.
3c.) Now to be fair, I probably could have used a different written method to express that one sentence. Like so:
Gays are being discriminated against because some people think that "itz w3ird t0 b3 act1n l1ke teh w1ld pr1mat3z."
Indicating that it’s a reference to a way that homophobes think about gays. And indicating that I think that shit is stupid to waste energy on. May or may not have done any good though.
======================
---------What else is left now? -
======================
4a.) I understand that now, if you all go back and read what I was actually talking about, it won't change your perception to how I meant that statement to be received. Once you have a first impression, it’s pretty hard to reform that impression. I get it.
But like I said earlier, you should change your mind about this one. Because right now, you have me painted the wrong color. And hey, just being honest? No “authority muscle“, no nothin’? Consider this:
I’m a moderator around here right now so, *shrugs* IF you pursue this false view of me, eventually it’s gonna get you fucked up. Just telling you the whole truth about the thing.
eh....plant the seed I guess.
4b.) Now, Rijo, Toxik, Boom_Boom, Ninja_Mime, and whoever else I missed, it's important that you understand I don't "regret" the statement the way I wrote it and the way I meant it.
BUT, I am sorry you guys had to be exposed to this sort of emotional distress about me. Consider it a false alarm. You see, I didn't design that comment to...cause anguish? for anyone. So, you’re gonna have to excuse me if I can't feel any real remorse for it because, that statement was not meant to be a shot at gay people at all.
I don't write hate statements because that's not how I feel about anyone. And if I don't feel it, I don't write it. So I didn't write it, and nonetheless, it has been turned IN-TO a hateful statement. That's not what I wrote that for, but that's what it got turned in to. Which is what "you'd" (no one in particular) HAVE to do, in order to make it seem like I hate.....anybody.
:: Anyway, I'm also sorry you guys feel whatever way you do about me being the one who wrote that statement. The way I figure it, if I am supposed to be completely objective (care, but fair at the same time) about things, I'm supposed to Only tell the truth. And I'm supposed to tell that truth in a way that everyone can easily understand. So, my comment met those standards for the point I was making, so I proceeded with it, but it was only for that point I was making. (remember: the point I was making is the difference between these two civil rights movements, and to point at the root cause for discrimination against gays....nothing else.)
4c.) I advocate, and vote in favor of gay rights.
Doesn't make any damn sense to even attempt to paint me as "Teh m0d wh0 haetz teh g4yzz" in the first place.
4d.) For the record, I don't blame any one of you for misinterpreting what I wrote, I'm the one who wrote it. So, this post ain't about sympathy. This post probably doesn’t even read like I want sympathy anyway. I can’t stand pity.
This post is about me making an effort to stave off any false claims that gay people on this site are “amidst an enemy" because of what I wrote. So let me say this very clearly:
I'm not an "enemy" to gay people. Never have been, never will be. I'm not vengeful, spiteful, and I do not hold grudges. So everybody using my name like a ping pong ball for this shit right now is forgiven. It’s not really you’re fault for the impression you have.
Going forward from this post however, I’m gonna hold any and all parties accountable for expressing in any way, that I hate...anybody. Cuz #1.)it is wrong, #2.) I don’t deserve it, and #3.) I won’t tolerate it.
Same way I haven’t tolerated slander against anyone else on this site. Yea, don’t forget I’ve banned people who have called you.....”fill in the blank”.
======================
---------How does this end? -
======================
Via ~Crow~'s wishes, we gotta drop it on all fronts. So,....
Don't quote me, her, each other...don't take a subliminal shot, make a reference...nothin'. Nothing about this issue is to be brought up beyond this post.
IF this very...mm...invalid conversation about me continues, blame yourself for your post being terminally edited, or completely deleted.
I invite PMs though, you can call me all kinds of jerks or whatever through the PM system if you still don't understand when//where//how//what//why any of this happened, and you still feel a way about this.....I can take it.
Other than that? Thanks for reading and I’m pretty sure I covered everything.
Deuces!

People just make that correlation because it is a civil rights issue. Gay people aren't being oppressed (and if so, much less so), persecuted, or otherwise simply because other groups feel that they are inferior to them. Gays are being discriminated against because it's weird to be acting like some types of the wild primate.

Look,I agreed with the guy on the right before I watched it.
You see, one was Black people getting discriminated against because white people thought they were superior to us. In the beginning, they didn’t even wanna recognize us as “real humans that deserved rights”. The other civil rights issue is based on two equal people wanting to get married legally. The marriage issue was one component of the many Black civil rights issueS of the past. Now, I’m not saying it’s a lesser issue, because it’s not. But in comparison, it’s only one piece of the Black civil rights movements. My grandparents had to fight for a public bathroom, so that my mom could go pee IF they were able to go out without fearing for their life when my mother was young. Y’know? It’s different.
People just make a connection between the two civil rights movements, because they are both civil rights issues. That doesn’t make them identical issues though. Gay people aren’t being killed because they can’t hide that they’re gay (and if they are, the killers are caught and punished) . Gays aren’t being hunted and shit by “Straight only” clans, they aren’t being publicly separated from the rest of society by “Straight people only” signs, nor anything else simply because heterosexuals “think they’re superior to them”. No no no.... Gay people get discriminated against because ~"of a state of mind that does in fact exist, and makes the connection between human homosexual behavior, and the homosexual behavior of some types of nonhuman primates."~ There‘s the root difference right there.

======================
---------How does this end? -
======================
Deuces!

Dear lord?
Many strange things always seem to happen in my absence. But I bought a new straightener, hopefully this one last longer than the other one.
I think my mom is going to let me get Snake Bites...
I think it will go perfect when I dye my hair Bleach Blonde?
: )

Egad Pred... how do you write so much?
Anyways, I'm glad to be stress free... I got my limo for Prom, I'm so happy, just waiting for the garter to be in on Sunday and just gotta buy a few minor accessories and then I'm done!
I'm counting down to the day.

About Me

So today I was in the bathroom at the library, and I looked at the stall wall.
People wrote various things....rhymes, riddles, gang symbols, etc.
But one guy wrote: "This is all a piss poor attempt at bathroom literature!"
I lol'd.

The City In The Sky temple from Twilight Princess has what may be my favorite theme in any video game ever made. Anyone else have another other suggestions for great themes?

About Me
The future seemed so bright.
But this thing turned out so evil,
I don’t know why I’m still surprised.
Even angels have their wicked schemes,
And you take that to new extremes.
But you’ll always be my hero,
Even though you lost your mind...

Temple, Brinstar Depths, and Fire Emblem themes from Super Smash Bros. Melee, are awesome. There's also a bunch of background tracks from Sonic 3 & Knuckles that rock, like the Ice level, Lava Reef zones, and Flying Battery zones.

Flying Battery Zone has such a great sound to it. Sonic CD though wins for best soundtrack though.

I think I used to visit that forum. I haven't been there in like a year though.

Today was Pet Therapy Day at my university. They brought in all sorts of pets for us to hold and be around. It was all so cute. They had bunnies.
I did a Google search on my username. Apparently, Jaded Reign is/was some kind of band. They have a CD called "Harmful If Swallowed"...
