Can't believe I'm starting up band soon. It only been 2 months that I started learning guitar (still newbie and haven't had much time learn as much I would like to) and now there talks between me and my pal starting band. He been writing lyrics and I been doing same (even tho they need alot work on but idea there). Also found singer and he going give me lone of his bass and going get lessons as well.

It Werid, I had no desire to be in band and only wanted learn guitar for fun but now it looks like I'm going be bass player (might also do odd guitar as well). Just funny how thing work out

Canada now has a majority Conservative government, one of the most regressive political parties in all of Canada. They will be there for another 5 years.
It sucks being Canadian today (unless you supported Conservatives, then hooray)... But on the plus side, it sucks even harder to be a supporter of the Bloc Québecois, which only received 4 seats compared to last election's 47. They will no longer be considered an official party in Canada. About time.
