Pyramid Head is only from
Silent Hill 2, and relates
only to the protagonist of that game. He may be an icon of the series, but that doesn't change the fact that
none of the other characters besides James (and Maria, for a very good reason) should be seeing him. He's part of James's subconscious, trying to make him remember something important. Other characters in SH2
absolutely cannot see him, nor interact with him, as he does not relate to any of their thoughts or fears.
Unless the movie is about James,
Pyramid Head should not be in it,
Lying figures should not be in it, and
sexy-garbed Bubble head nurses should not be in it. They're catered to James's subconscious.
Silent Hill 1 and 3 have to do with
Alessa's mind. That's why
nurses have faces,
aren't scantily clad, and lots of the enemies
appear burned,
child-like, or
come from her childhood fears. Pyramid Head does not correspond with her.
All games past SH4 were made by the non-Japanese, non-Team Silent crew who fucked it up and put inappropriate enemies in the games, just because they think of Pyramid Head and nurses when it comes to Silent Hill as a series.
Christophe Gan misinterpreted enemies as well, and
mixed them all together haphazardly, without considering that the movie has only to do with
Alessa, not
James and his sexual and violent demons.
James isn't even in the damn movie, so Pyramid Head absolutely cannot be there.
