Grand Rapids is like a 5 hour commute from my region of Michigan, it's part of why I'm not going sooner, ten hours to and from is like inter-state travel, Ohio and Canada are vastly closer to me, but when my friend gets her apartment out there, I won't have to worry about all that stuff because a full weekend out there would be worth the trip, especially when I don't have to pay for a hotel or any of that nonsense.

I completely understand how you feel and I'm sorry for your loss. I had to put my cat, Jack, down after 12 years. He was getting to the point where he just urinated on himself and slumped in it. It hurt to see him how he was so we put that 'ol bastard to sleep. I miss him all the time.
I cried into my pillow for a good hour of the night that night...

Holy shit! I forgot about "Mishigan". I got the info, but Friday we went out and got blitzed at a Metal showcase, Saturday I simply recooperated while giving an initial spin of an album for a review I'm writing and today I'm MAKING music.
Hopefully I'll get my shit in order soon. I'll say Tuesday because I have to present my wares Monday (music dealings, tryna make my bread).

I've never lost a pet, but I have lost fam, its' hard to deal with especially since pets end up becoming so close that they're like a member of the family, very sorry for your loss.
