I never throw people under buses, but I wonder what I would do in that situation. Being accused in front of your professor by your group member? That's pretty low. I have never had a problem with group projects in the past. This girl. I should have known she was trouble. But the weird thing is, she only has this power with the group she's in now. She was in a group with them in Fall '10 and she was this tyrant. Then I was in a different group with her in Spring '11 and she was fine. Now I'm in her original Fall '10 group, but in Fall '11 and that's where her tyranny comes out. She hasn't sent me a response about my revised paper yet. I don't know if I should start making a power point of my section or not.

It's completely obvious that this girl knows that she can get away with being the leader and a rude one with these people. And I know you don't take shit from people, so I would do what comes first and stick with it. If you want to do the power point, then do it, if not, then don't.

If I wasn't kinda buzzed, I'd give a more powerful answer to give you. But I'm a lightweight when it comes to drinking... And a Girls Night Out apparently is making me like... buzzed.

It's awesome.

I'm kinda drunk...

I'm going to get carded for a long, long time and my new ID doesn't make things better.

Amazing that I'm typing so well when I feel like I've screwed up at least a few dozen times already...

I honestly don't see how anything I've ever said in the past would indicate that I'm 15 or younger. I've talked about drinking, I've talked about my views on smoking pot (which I don't do, by the by).

And yes (Erik), that was me with the film company. I actually finished filming that, and I have yet to see an edit of the film. Hope they didn't cut me out wink.

I also kinda figured my maturity level was above that of a 12 year old.

And damn, do I really look THAT young? Perhaps I should post more pictures or something.

Man, you guys are bringing me down, here. grin

I actually like hearing people tell me that I look younger than I am, it means that I'm aging better. My grandpa is 82 years old and most people think he's in his 50s, he looks great. My mom is 49 and people think she's in her 30s. Me, I'm 24 and people think I'm 16. I get carded for everything, and since I work for the public school district, there's times I am required to do visits to the high schools. Whenever I go to the high schools, the security guards and the teachers tell me to get back into class and stop ditching or they're going to suspend me. I always have to explain to them that I graduated high school in 2005 and that I now work for the schools, I'm not in high school. It's tough sometimes going to the high schools for this reason. However, that just means that when I'm in my 40s or so people will think I'm in my 20s or something. As compared to this one guy I know who's 24 too and everything thinks he's in his 40s. That means by the time he's in his 40s he'll probably look like shit already.

I hate the snow and we got a good 4 inches maybe today, the roads were already starting to get icy this afternoon. My analogy was the best way I could describe the snow in a comical manner. smile

Because I care with every fiber of my being and it's killing me.

I get mixed feelings for Group Projects. I either get people who actually do work or people who're goofing off and doing the bare minimum. This little shrew I call bitch was trying to steal the credit and say I didn't do squat which in reality, I DID EVERYTHING!furious

Screw group work...9 times out 10 I get idiotic people who don't know the concept of 'pulling your own weight'.

Even when I had one partner who wanted to be helpful, the other two did squat.

I don't like relying on people, especially people I don't know on principle, I highly value my independence and autonomy when doing my work, I do not like my grade being dependent on other people;however, I am a team player and when I get a good team on those rare occassions, I cherish them and it's like clockwork getting stuff done.

See, the thing is with group projects, is that you always find yourself with a person that doesn't do anything and expects you to do all of their work and they can get away with a great grade.

I've always been the person people go to if the project requires some sort of art, because everyone knows that I love to draw. They won't lift a finger to help me, they just expect me to do all of the drawing. Which is bogus because there's no "I" in team, and I cannot stress that enough on how many times I've said that to people who just want to be lazy and let other people do their work.

Unfortunately for them, they will have to experience the cruelty of letting others do their work the hard way when it comes to college. Because everyone's got these self evaluations... And if you stress enough about how this one never did anything and you did all of the work, I guarantee you that something good will come out of it.

My documentary project turned out to be shit, it was about me and my medical condition. My partner did little to no work whatsoever, bitched about how she cannot stand the school. I did everything, and when I told my professor the truth rather than covering her own ass for something, she got into trouble. Yeah we both bombed the documentary, but at least I still passed the class with a B+, I'm not so sure what she passed it with.

This song I recorded sounds like some bullshit you'd hear in a Doritos commercial. The drums are real but sound fake, the guitar tones are totally shit.

The drums still have a somewhat full sound to them, despite the fact that it's only 2 pieces (Snare, tom), and I can't play drums. It's nice set up for recording in my room, at least.

You might have to trust me when I say this sounds really good.

It's catchy, I like the sound. I mean, my brother does a lot of recording in his room, and it sounds about the same as that. Not bad quality, just has a more home made type thing to it.

Shit, you need a drummer count me in wink

Really though, looking for a band as a drummer is killing me. I finally decided that I wanted to play music in my spare time, and I can't find a freakin' band.

Really though, keep it up. And post more in the future.

Side note, Isn't a 10 year age difference a bit much? I mean come on people.

Haaaaaaa. I want Pokemon. The only ones I'm missing is DnP and BnW. If I were to get the games, I would get Black and Platinum. Who knows. That sounds like a good christmas present. 200 for a 3DS and a Pokemon game. I could work with that.

**More being pissed off at lazy roommates who can't throw away the garbage bag after the bag gets completely full, thinking that leaving the lid off is a good idea so that we can all continue throw away garbage even though the bag has reached its fullest part**

I'm really hoping by sometime, next year, I can start living with my boyfriend instead of with people I never asked to live with.

Ah, we're 3/5. I transferred all of my Pokemon from Sapphire and LeafGreen into my Diamond, and then my cousin stole my game and erased my file. I lost all will to restart that game (it was my least favourite Pokemon game) and then I just sold the game for $20 to my roommate.

I still have Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby and Sapphire versions of Pokemon. I never played Diamond or Pearl or any of the others after Ruby and Sapphire.
