I agree that Dave Mustaine should have been on there, but personally, I hate Dimebag's playing style, I've never found it unique in anyway. That's just me, of course, but I find him to be completely overrated. I say it all the time, and I usually get flamed for it, but there have been occasions where lots of people have agreed with me. My top ten metal guitarists of all time would be:

Those are my personal favorite guitarists (in metal). Of course I also like Jimi Hendrix, but he doesn't play metal. I've just never liked Pantera, find their instrumentation boring, not my style, don't know why, just don't like it. These are all just in my opinion, of course, and I know that I have different tastes than the general population, so I'm sure most people would disagree 100% with my list, mostly because they would say "Who the fuck is Aleksi Sihvonen and why should he be higher than *insert name here*" or something like that. So now that I vented that, I must restate the words of one of the members of the Fantastic Four and say "Flame On!" lol

I'ma let u finish this conversation in a minute, but that guy living in his parent's basement on 44th St. with the garage band is the greatest guitar player of all time!
