its worse when they are the first on the new page... cause then the forum wont automatically display the new page, you have to scroll down to it, and whoever posts next will miss it.

So I figured out I don't need games to entertain me. I just need music. I was just to stubborn to realize and accept it. What has the world done to me. I never get bored of music, but now I get bored of games quickly. My Era of Gaming is going down the shitter and soon its gonna be all gone.
Sure J-spit, I'll make a Jill one for ya.

Is it wrong that I love heavy metal music but I hate Dimebag Darrell with a passion? Want to see real guitar work then look up Josh Middleton, Alexi Laiho, Buz McGrath, Ville Vanni, and Yngwie Malmsteen, hell I'd even say that Oli Herbert, Dave Mustaine, Kerry King, and Francesco Artusato are better guitarists too. I just don't like the constant worship he gets as being one the best guitarists ever when I find his style sloppy, boring, generic, and repetitive, maybe it's just me.

Yeah. I think it's kind of wrong to hate somebody with a passion, especially if you don't even personally know that person. And if they're dead.

Yeah. I think it's kind of wrong to hate somebody with a passion, especially if you don't even personally know that person. And if they're dead.
True, maybe I should rephrase that and say that I hate the mass mainstream media for turning him into some kind of guitar god when I think his playing is overrated. I guess it's not his fault that everyone thinks he's the best ever, only because society dictates it to them. I just wish people would dive deeper into the lesser known bands and see the unrecognized talent they have that far surpasses the musicians the media tries to pass off as "the best".
Another example of this would be Neil Peart, since the media tries to say he's the best drummer ever. I guess they've never heard of a guy by the name of Tim Yeung then.
This is what I call guitar work Sylosis (Josh Middleton)
Dimebag can't touch that, in my opinion, because his style is too sloppy, whereas Josh is very strategic and formula based, like a science. His sweeps and harmonics are perfectly executed and well timed, they sound amazing!

...$20 says you didn't read the whole article, because it says he's stepping down so he can make new IP's stuff for Nintendo.
I don't blame him, he's been doing what he can with these same characters for 30 years or so.
Dear Persephanie... My level 85 shadow priest...
Wouldn't you look awesome in the hood that I have in my signature? This awesome hood that has traits best used for DPS characters? That you would look totally sick and freaking awesome if you looked like a Warlock because Blizzard's artists tend to think that there's really a difficult way to design your class in a badass direction?
I'm starting to think every other Tier set is a hit or miss when it comes to badass.
Your tier 5, 6, 8, 10 and 13 were by far the best tier sets. Don't make me have to use this transform thing to get my set to look like previous sets.
Love, the girl behind the player...
PS... I need to level up my other alts. 55 more levels with my pally to go!!!

I love mario, but I would like to see what New IPs our favorite CEO can come up with
Listened to Korn's new album. Don't really like it, considering how much dubstep is in it and I don't like dubstep. It's not really korn's style. But I understand that dubstep is pretty mainstream, and just like anyone in this day and age, they needed to make some money. I will admit that I like narcissitic cannibal and couple other songs on the album, but next time Korn, please don't sell out to the mainstream. You were awesome before this.

It's more like dubmetal than dubstep - which would be another music genre that Korn has created (see: nu metal). Dubstep is a rather new music genre, popularized by Justin Bieber, where you elongate the sounds abnormally and to some, annoyingly. (source: friend)

I see it as more dubstep in this album. I agree about the nu metal in the past with no argument. But this new album is definelty dubstep just by the sound. Also, every single song has a featured artist that is a dubstep artist.

I have yet to listen to the full album. Dubmetal is no official music genre thus far so from the current genres it would definitely go under dubstep. Perhaps an Evile–Skrillex companionship could create music with more metal impact, making dubmetal more official. Nonetheless, I didn't just come up with the dubmetal word, at least Korn itself uses that word. Gotta listen to the whole album soon.Zmoke Wrote:

I'll have to see what this sounds like. For some reason I except it to sound either like Industrial Metal (such as this Mushroomhead song) or like Aggrotech/EBM. Maybe not as heavy as Aggrotech though, because some groups like Dawn of Ashes and Psyclon Nine are really heavy mixtures of metal and electronic music. Nevertheless, I'm interested in hearing what it sounds like. I hate Dubstep, so not sure if I'd like the way it sounds. What's with the sudden fad of Dubstep anyway? It sounds like a neutered version of EBM with less time involved in the creation process, to me anyway. I guess I just prefer more traditional and heavier forms of electronic music, that's why Aesthetic Perfection is one of my favorite bands.
