She's apparently being considered gay because she's not some damsel in distress who's living on every single word of a prince. She's a fucking animated character for heaven's sake, how in the world are people judging sexual orientation of a fictional character that was meant for children!
It's like how people here on this site assumed Smoke is gay because of random bullshit that kept getting tossed up.
Now, believe me, I respect the gay community, but why do people need to question everything when there's nothing there that shows any kind of proof that they are? Especially when it comes to children movies?
There's not one point of time where Pixar decided that their tomboyish female character is deemed gay because she refuse to be pitted with a guy by her side.
If that's the case, then I'm going to assume Snow White was a slut all this time because she slept with seven dwarfs. Or that Megara from Hercules is some sort of whore because she does whatever Hades say. And so on and so on.
I'd just like to say that people are dumb -__-
I'm sure they saw the suitors that were there for her in the movie. They were terrible, and I can't fault her for looking bored (although she did look at that buff dude pretty 'lustfully?).
She's a strong woman with a degree of power, and sadly, many people to this day still can't accept that.
