Oh be quiet. You think I'm some Romney nut here? They're both awful. No ifs ands or buts about it.
Obama did nothing. Period.
I could go on a long rant about Liberals. But seeing how that is rude and my opinion, I thought I'd point out an interesting little fact.
The Democratic Party spent a billion dollars to reelect President Obama and win back the House of Representatives.
The Republican Party spent a billion dollars to defeat President Obama and hold the House of Representatives.
Barack Obama was reelected and Republicans retained the house. Meaning things have remained pretty much identical to the post 2010 midterm situation.
Except that 2 billion dollars...
Personal rant below. I'd recommend not reading.

I am highly disappointed in the outcome of this election, I feel this country is getting far to Liberal, and I believe that puts on the path to end up like Ireland or Spain. I have a disdain for European style socialism; I do not believe in putting people on the dole, nor socialized medicine. I am gun owner and an advocate for second amendment rights. I not only feel, but know that Barack Obama's environmental policies have cost American Jobs, because I have seen it first hand. The people of my town are suffering because the amount of legislation and penalties for logging areas that were once hazard free have become enormous. Canadian timber and Russian timber is now replacing American because it has become cheaper for companies to buy Internationale than here in the U.S. I do feel Barack Obama is a economic drag, and his policies towards small businesses will prevent job growth. I also feel the Corporate tax is far too high, and I say this as a child who grew up poor in a family that more than once had to decide between heat and food. Finally, his support of the Death Tax is inexcusable. I lost my father, but I inherited his savings and house. My parents never married, so I was forced to act as an adult. I had just lost my father but now I had to sign countless tax forms, and I was forced sell my fathers home to pay off the mortgage, which his life insurance would have covered were it not for the inheritance tax. What did I get in return? A monthly pidence until I was 18, which amounted to less than money than the government took from me. I hated receiving those checks, someone else deserved that money; someone in need. I wanted what my father wanted me to have, and by damn be it Barack Obama or Captain Communist no power in this world will stop me from earning what is mine! I will earn my fortune and keep and no community organizing fop who doesn't know what it's truly like to go without will take it from me! I am a Capitalist, I believe in a Free Market, and I believe the government has no place it.

Yeah, a nice country with a 6.4 trillion dollar debt that we can't seem to get out of.

There will always be downsides to any guy that is elected. I personally see more pros than cons for Obama compared to Romney. And that debt would still be there with Romney.
People want solutions that happens here and now. Neither of them can do that. But with Obama, long-term solutions seem more plausible which gives me hope for the USA.

In reponse to your spoiler, imho Republicans are hellbent on making everyone else abide by their beliefs, whether they like it or not, which is wrong.
Democrats are often too sensitive to actually put their foot down and take a stand on something, which is sad.
In the end, until Republicans realize the U.S. is not a theocracy, I don't want them in office.

I never stated that if Romney would have won, the debt would be easily gone. We are still living in a horrible recession that if nothing gets done about it soon, we might have to press that reset button. And we don't want that to happen.
This isn't a butthurt post, I don't mind that Romney lost, I'm not a cry baby when something I want doesn't happen. Both ran a good campaigns, unfortunately, who I wanted to win didn't, oh well. I just want a guy who will definitely aim to put an end to this recession...
This is all I'm going to say, just because I don't like political talk that much. I just wanted to let people know that we're still living in a bunch of debt and would definitely like that to end... Also, anyone who didn't vote during this election has no right to say anything negative about anything.

My throat is burning. I need some Halls..
This "lesser of two evils" justification is horse shit. When it comes to the point where we have two incompetent twats running to LEAD OUR NATION, and everyone feels like they only have two choices, it shows you how narrow minded the people have become.

It's not the people that have become narrow minded, but the political system.
Third parties aren't even allowed in the presidential debates. The people are never actually given a decent opportunity to go beyond the Democratic and Republican parties, because those are the only two that are allowed to advance.
Trust me, if other parties were allowed in those debates and put in the forefront, much less people would be Democrat or Republican.
Btw, Obama is for me the lesser of two evils. I myself would much rather have someone who takes forever to help the people, than someone who has no intention to.
