I've been playing the DmC: Devil May Cry demo on PSN, I'm really enjoying it (to the point that I've played through the demo 3 times, which I almost never do)

Am I the last person on planet earth who likes Captain Marvel (DC) ?

I don't read as many comics as I'd like to. Even so, I'm more of a Marvel (the company) fan.

No, but it strikes me that it's a part of the culture that is well and truly outside the wheelhouse of gamers (and youngsters).

Well, It's not just that. I went to the Comic shop recently to pick up an old Captain Marvel Comic for my nephew; I figured they'd have some around somewhere. But nothing, the shop keeper said no one had traded any in or had asked for any in a long time and that he had long since sold off all the ones he had. He did have a book on the history of Captain Marvel, but it wasn't what I was looking for. I always liked Captain Marvel, he was relic of a bygone age; and arguably my favorite DC hero (A position he and Flash both fight over in my mind). Now it seems as if he's gone for good; replaced by some shiny pretender.

To be honest, I didn't even know Captain Marvel existed until I saw him in MKvsDC.

To me, he just seems bland, and boring, though I can't say much, because I don't really comics, excluding X-Men.

Christmas shopping for my brother has got me really wanting to go shooting; gonna be a while though.

DC heroes almost unilaterally suck.

There. I said it.

And I agree.
As I've said before, I only like the Batman universe of DC comics.

I just spent 20 minutes writing a reply on a sports forum only for my comment to totally disappear after I clicked on the "post" button. FUCK!

Ugh, I feel so tired today. And tonight there's a party I have to attend to. It'll be fun and all, but right now I just don't feel like doing anything at all.

Incredible response considering I came here to drop this info into the drive by: in the past 3 weeks, I've somehow been managing to smoke weed everydaaay!

Saw the eye Dr. yestrada, found a slightly better resolution for my contacts. Got my glasses repaired after a couple years. Ordered new lenses, apparently they do still make these ridiculous things.

Contacts can be tedious, because they get full of junk. Remember those toys of the man with the rubber hands/feet that would flip down the wall? They'd stop working cause they got everything stuck to them?

Ugh, you just can't win.

watched abraham lincoln: vampire hunter. it was pretty good but very unrealalistic. lots of fighting neat cgi effects.

now i'm off to check my email and then play some dead island.
