However, I wished that they didn't ended Flowers the way they did. They killed the mother in the end. That's NOT how the book ended. There's a couple of sequels to the book with the mother dying in the very last one, I believe.
They were supposed to make a sequel to the movie, but how can you when you kill a character that wasn't even supposed to die? It's like if they allowed Bellatrix to kill Hermonie when she's torturing her. You don't make those kinds of changes.

Movies very seldom hold true to the finer or even some of the more obvious points of the books off of which they're based. I'm sure that I'll find more than a handful of mistakes in the upcoming movie adaptations of "The Hobbit". One somewhat trivial inaccuracy that I've already noticed is that it appears that Peter Jackson is trying to add a comedic trait to Bilbo's character, which is absent in the books aside from the few instances in the beginning of their journey in which he comically tries to be the adventurous burglar that he's hired to represent. Though, considering the short attention span of this generation's youth, I suppose that it's necessary to add a palpable comedic element to add balance to a deep and interesting story.
By the way, great job spoiling important plot points of two separate films and a book series for everyone else. Next time, try to avoid being so inconsiderate and reckless and practice a bit more discretion. At the very least, you could have forewarned users of forthcoming spoilers (reference SubMan799's earlier spoiler warning for an adequate example).

I'm not sure if this is a joke in reference to the Green Lantern discussion, or if you really did intend on discussing the comedian rather than the superhero.
I'm confused.

If this is directed at me, then I'd just like to say that I'm not deliberately "trolling" and I'm calmer than a Hawaiian breeze. Even after having my apology shrugged off and despite being insulted by two individuals simultaneously just prior to that apology, I've refrained from insulting anyone this time around. Yet, individuals like Murcielago insist on finding a reason to tactlessly provoke me. In spite of that act of belligerence, I've again managed to remain civil.

Just because they are the top selling games of PS3 doesn't mean they are better than the top selling games of 360 or Nintendo.
Games like the Halo series, Gears of War series, Viva Pinata (YES EVEN THIS. It has the Animal Crossing effect where it looks stupid but is insanely addicting so don't knock it until you play it), Forza Series, Dance Central series, Beautiful Katamari, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, and Fable 2 (and Fable 1 but I am just going over games for this gen right now) certainly seal the deal for Microsoft having the best exclusives.
While over here I look at the PS3 Exclusives (and I have all 3 consoles so don't try to say I am picking Microsoft as the best just because I have an Xbox) and all I see that would catch my eye are Little Big Planet 1 & 2, Twisted Metal, Play Station All Stars Battle Royale, MAG (looked interesting for online but I never got to play it), and Ratchet & Clank (I never really enjoyed the games on the PS2 for the series but I would have tried these since I do somewhat enjoy the characters).
Nintendo games are Nintendo games which are always fun but pretty much the same thing time and time again just on a new way to play the same (controller-wise).
Meanwhile Playstation 2 had everything correct when it came to exclusives. Games that were actually fun, and a wide variety of types of fun too.
- .Hack Series
- Amplitude (one of my favorite games of all time)
- SSX (the first one)
- Kingdom Hearts 1 (at the time)
- Kingdom Hearts 2
- WWE Smackdown! Games (eventually became part of PSP as well)
- Ape Escape 2 and 3
- Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy
- And a few others
Now I'd probably rather play PS2 Exclusives over any other consoles exclusives but looking at this gen, Microsoft easily has better exclusives and yes it is a matter of opinion but this is at least the opinion of someone who has both consoles (not counting Nintendo since I doubt anyone really would when it comes to exclusives because Nintendo seems to be in it's own universe to everyone). Now I'm not going to go and assume you do or don't have both consoles and I am not saying my opinion is fact but I'd respect an opinion that has played exclusives for both consoles (and put a good amount of time into all of the ones they have played) before trying to judge and say one console has better exclusives.
Maybe you have and maybe that is what your opinion came to after playing all of them, but I have no idea since you didn't post that.

Well I have played other console exclusives. I've owned other consoles besides Playstation, so it's not brand loyalty. I just happen to like Playstation games more. I just didn't want you to think I was a Playstation fanboy.
In other news, I ended up missing the VGAs. Forgot they were on, watched Ultimate Fighter instead.
