I went to hairdresser to get my hair dye red yesterday (it was ok) and now it turn reddish pink (fuck), my mum is trying to fix it so I hope to god (and others gods) this works because I'm going out to night (I might change mind if this does not work)

The hairdresser dye my hair blonde first (don't ask me why) then dye it red.

So if anyone got anything worst then tell me. PLZ

If you had darker hair before, then he probably bleached your hair so the red would come out strong. It depends what sort of red you were using I guess... is it just regular natural red hair color or some type of unnatural red?

Yeah... that's why then. If you use unnatural dyes like that it's suggested that you do a bleaching before you apply them. Otherwise it's not going to look like it does on the box... maybe something went wrong there, and that's why it's turning. Not sure... I used an unnatural red dye (fire red) a couple of months ago to dye my hair. It came out pretty well, I guess. It took a long time to do because I first foiled up the parts of my hair I wanted to make red, then I dyed the rest black. Then I removed the foil, bleached those strands, rinsed them, then dyed them the fire red.

Probably going to do that again once summer gets here since my hair grows too fast and I can't stand it to be "long".

Thanks but this is third time I did this but the other places I went to never did bleaching and it came out fine.

Well, then it's possible it's just that you don't like the "pure" colour of the dye you're using. You might be used to it being a lot darker than it could be, and the bleaching would have made it brighter (hence, pinkish maybe).

thanks crow for help. The guy said to keep putting red throw it every 2 days and it will go redder. He also said if I'm still unhappy then go back in monday and he will dye it back to dark brown.
