I got home about 2 hours ago from the Club, the place was packed, I had a few Jack Daniels and colas, got lots of interested looks and smiles from some really amazing looking girls tonight too, ones who were just my type for looks, but unless I've had a bit more liquid courage or a gal comes over and speaks, I don't pursue anymore.
I had a fun time dancing and hanging out with a buddy though, and then off for takeout and the half hour drive home by myself.

Which leads to me thinking I don't bother much with chasing after girls because of my friend Sarah who lives here whom I've fallen for since I first met her when she moved to the area back in 2005.

But of course she chose a different guy to be with instead of me (who I've been told by close friends whose cousins dated him that he lays around all day drinking on welfare leaving them to pay all the bills and he is physically abusive to his gfs he has, which angers me all the time when I think of him ever possibly hurting her), and she went to him totally against the advice of her cousin and many other in her family but for some odd reason, even though I've seen her maybe three times since shes moved in with him, I'm still crazy about her as I was before.

And the weird thing is since shes gotten with him she seems waaay more interested in me now when she does see me.

I'm honestly of the mindset that there's no other gal I'd be quite as interested in aside of her, but I should know thats not really true as there are a lot of really great girls with the personality and temperament that I like still out there.
Just she has the whole maternal instinct thing around kids and is great with them and where I want kids and so does she, and we share a ton of things in common its difficult to even think of anyone else replacing her since we got so close within a few months time.

Still, it makes me less wanting to get with anyone else at all. I did that once, and it felt pretty empty as a drunken one night stand and I don't care to repeat that again.

I'm sure a lot of guys will leap to respond and say I'm crazy for not wanting to have the whole one night stand thing all the time where I'm single now, but really, as you get older the whole focus men have on getting "laid" loses its charm and you want something more to a girl than that. At least I do.

Ah well, next Saturday is my birthday so I'm hoping I can get out with friends to a really happening club or something then and have it be a night where I don't have to drive in case I end up drinking too much. One friend wants me to go with him to a strip club then, as I've never ever gone to one, but the whole idea of doing that is against my conscience now, especially after watching the documentary 'Bangkok girl' and seeing how really kind girls get treated in those kinds of professions. Maybe I shouldn't think that way but if anyone's seen that documentary, you would never want to go to a strip club ever.

Damn I yammer even more when I've been drinking, than usual. lol
