Big shoes my ass. MKS, which i've never really known, hasn't been THAT big a part of this site. (S)He was just a member, just like all of us. It's not like someone can't get him to "Come back" just for a little while.

IMO, anyone, even Fetusstomper, could reopen that thread. And the battles aren't a rip-off of MKO idol, it's a rip-off of the Marvel Vs. DC thread. Get it right.

The battles aren't, but the concept is. Concept > Execution. YOU get it right.

Also, how can you know that MKS wasn't a big part here if you never knew him? I was fortunate enough to have spoken with him extensively, and let's just say that he's been the voice of reason to a large portion of us longer-tenured members here, and left because damn near all of his friends were banned (for good reason, as they were mostly not quite as reasonable as he was). As for getting him to come back, that's not difficult at all, as he still posts from time to time. It's getting him to come back for an extended period that's impossible.
