If you haven't tried it yet, go get Optimum Nutrition's 100% whey gold standard Cookies n' Cream flavour of Whey protein. Best Whey Protein I've ever tasted, it's just like Oreo's and Milk!
Now to catch up on a few posts/replies...

Thanks for the belated wishes Surfer, I didn't mix them! Just had Jack Daniels and diet pepsi! And yeah, I had a great time at least until everyone else took off for home and I stayed around on my own later.

Thanks Jonin it is good to know there are others sometimes. I haven't slept right for days and I can't think properly when I get bouts with insomnia. Sorry Prodigy and GNR, you know what I am talking about
Sounds like being single realy bothers you Jonin. I can understand that. I chose to be single for now and live in those shallow short relationships because of well actualy.....it's a painfull and boring story, but it ends something like this:.........and they did NOT live happily ever after
I understand where you are coming from though, there is an isolation of sorts to being single, it is almost like being incomplete and alone even when you are with people. Obviously there is the lack of emotional support too. Meh just my idle thoughts.

Yeah, too much insomnia here. But for once, last night I went to bed at 9pm! I guess it caught up with me and where I'd been out all day with family and chasing after my sisters kids and had an intense workout later on it made me tired enough to sleep well through the night. Sleeping early is not the norm for me, in fact one of my good friends from the Phillipines called me at 3:40am in the morning as she was concerned where I wasn't online at all the other night!
Sounds like your situation is similar to mine then, 5animals. And yes, when you've spent the span of 7 years with someone in a great relationship and all of a sudden it ends, especially when you'd had big plans for a future with them, being single feels odd and empty for a person. For me at least.
I have a lot of female friends whom I can hang out with, sure, but it's no replacement for having someone there with you in a close relationship at all. I'm more the emotional and considerate type anyways, so you aren't wrong in that lack of support also is a big factor in it. Just seems I'm there to emotionally support my friends and the same doesn't really happen back as much. I dunno.

Can the mods read users IMs?
Well, yes and no. As far as I know from the past, Admins can check/read your IM's on site *if* there is a warranted reason for doing so.
For example, you are sending someone harrassing IM's on site and it needs to be looked into for purposes of that sort.
You have to take into account that anything and everything you do on a website (not just this one) can easily be seen and read if someone running the site chose to do so.
You might think the IM's here should be private (and for the most part they are) but where they are contained ON THE SITE itself, the use of the IM system is still in the hands of the site owners and it's not like your own personal email. (which also can be read by your internet service provider at will, if they so choose to do.)
In other words, don't send anything or post anything you don't want someone else to possibly read!

Thanks for the belated birthday wishes Sarah! No worries on it being late, as I always say better late than never! And yes, I had a great time Saturday night.
And as to your other comment, It's nice to see old friends whom you knew from your childhood again isn't it? I know a lot of my childhood friends have added me on facebook whom I've not seen or heard from in years! They just appear out of nowhere!
And back to today...
I got a Philip's Bodygroom the other day when I was out shopping with my sister, her kids and my mom so I'll have to try that out soon. Sure beats using Nair I'm sure, to get rid of hair with.
Today is such a beautiful sunny day out, I love the sun and heat of summer here...much nicer than our usual cold weather we have most of the year. I think I'll splash on some dark tanning oil, slip on some shorts and tan for a while out on the deck. The only thing I'm missing is a few cold Coors light to have to refresh with! Ah well, vodka and orange juice will have to do.

I usauly just mix fruit in with them. Sometimes I even try to make them into virgin dacari type concoctions. There is nothing wrong with getting a little experimental and trying to make the thing taste decent. As long as you don't use anything with alot of added fat, sugar, or alcohol

I actually use milk or soy milk. I never use fruit, tried it once didnt like it. Using soy milk can make the taste better but still isnt that good, I just use it to add more protein. In soy milk, you get a decent amount of protein in one cup.
The protein shake I use has 25 grams of protein per scoop, I use 3 scoops of it adding to a total of 75 grams, plus the 3 cups of soy milk which have like 7 grams of protein in it which gives it a total of 86 grams of protein. Alot? I actually use to have that twice a day. One in the morning and one after I work out. But now I just have one as a snack or after I work out.

75 is a pretty high number if you are anything less than a body builder. MMA Artists will usualy taske about 50 grams of whey protein and basketball players around 25. Some body builders go as high as 150 but that is seriously risky buisness. Keep in mind that you can have health problems if you go to high. Are you trying to get realy jacked up or are you just experimenting and trying to get into shape?
Keep this in mind as well. Extremely high doses of whey protein is not recommended, as this will cause the body's liver to be overloaded and you won't get the same benefits as with a consistent lower amount taken three to five times per day.
Just trying to help you out bro, and watch out for your long term health as oposed to just the way you look.
whoa twice a day....I just caught that. Unless you are trying to compete you are overdoing it dude.

Fitness....Bleh!
I have been the same weight since High school. 186 lbs. Some fat, some mucsle, and a lot of water. I'm actually a pretty fit person, but i don't worry about my helth. I like to eat, but because i usually WALK everywhere to save gas money, i keep a steady weight. I only drive if it's WAY out of town. It's easyer to stay fit if you don't put in a ton of efforts. Drinking protine shakes made me gain weight, and made me losse lifting power. It was a waste of money.

Well Im in wrestling, rugby and hockey(in the winter ofcourse) at school so I try and maintain my muscles at where there at. Im not HUGE or anything like that im just muscular. Dont mean to brag lol. Ive been working out for 2 years now man.
Yeah I now about how too much protein is too bad for you're liver, I think I made it look like I take it ALOT. Keep in mind that I dont work out everyday, and now I only have a protein shake after a work out. I also dont always keep my routine, like everybody I stop my workout routine due to being lazy. But yeah when I first started to work out that when I was having twice a day. Now ive been taking it easy because Im not trying to get any bigger anymore. Just maintain my structutre and be healthy.
I apreciate you're advice man, thanks for looking out.

GNR: Not to be a dick, but there is no way that protein shakes made you lose lifting power, that simply does not compute. Protein aids in your muscles recovery which allows you to heal faster and increase your workload. I would guess that getting high and drinking might have been a culpret though, as well as an unstructured routine
We are talking about gaingin mass, at least I hope that is what his goal is, or else he is realy screwing up.I only take 25 g per day myself because I am already a very stocky guy, and not looking to be a body builder. I am just trying to get stronger without loosing agility.
Edit: Prodigy Gotcha dude, I thought you meant you were doing this daily. I was about to call 911

I take in about 1 gram of protein per pound of muscle mass (thats the total maximum in one day anyone should take or else it *can* lead to liver trouble). Without using protein shakes getting to that amount is insanely difficult!
I try to use micronized whey protein as it mixes the best, Designer Whey and Optimum Nutrition are the only brands I've found that are micronized and taste good too.
I'll warn anyone right now, PVL brand is horrible! Avoid it unless you want a clumpy chalky tasting protein mix! The only way I could drink it at all was with water to mix, and I had to chug it. I gave the rest of my 5 lb jug of it to a friend whom is just starting out with workouts and haven't bothered with anything but Optimum Nutrition brand as it's great tasting and has a lot of benefits to it.
My usual protein shake consists of 2-3 scoops of whey, 1 cup orange juice, 1 cup skim milk, 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, 3 tablespoons of vanilla yogurt and 1 banana, along with a teaspoon of creatine monohydrate mixed with 6 ice cubes for the chill and volume. Lots of protein and other healthy vitamins and tastes great as well!
The latest issue of insidefitness (it's free, just go to GNC and they will give you a copy, has lots of good info in it) has a really tasty sounding mango smoothie recipe:
1 cup mango nectar juice, 1 medium banana, 1/2 cup skim milk, 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder, 6 ice cubes.
I'd make it to try, only I don't have any mangos on hand.
Protein is good not only for someone who works out and into bodybuilding but to anyone whom wants to lose fat, as protein uses 30% of its calories just to be digested so you end up losing more fat than you gain overall.
Combine that with 6-7 small meals a day (which really I can't afford to do, wish I could) and you will drop fat fast in about 4-6 weeks.
I like to workout minimum of 3 days a week and maximum of 5 days a week. Anywhere from 30 minute to 2 hours tops depending on how often I've been working out.
People I know can't understand the natural high you get from working out. When you miss a session you actually feel pretty crappy, not only because you missed it for determinations sake but because you are missing that high you get from it.
I've been lifting regularly for well over 2 years now, and am in really good shape because of it. I can't recommend it more to people if they want to lose fat and look good.
Notice I said lose fat, not weight. When you workout and gain muscle, muscle weighs more than fat so overall your actual weight will rise. Which is why scales are generally garbage unless you aren't trying to gain muscle and mirrors are your friend.
I always go on a spiel when someone brings up working out in a conversation, I'm that enthusiastic about it and what it's done for me.

You're A year younger than me, so STFU. I'm not old.
Jonin, thats good stuff. I agree, when working out you feel so good when you're done. You're happy, you feel energetic, strong and all in all you just feel good. When I miss a few days of working out I do feel bad, and I feel like crap. But I do other things like in sports so if I didnt work out one day, I'll still feel good because I did something active.
My mom actually bought me a Boflex back in April. Im pretty sure you know what that it and have heard of it. I still go to an actual gym sometimes with my buddy but thats when I want to do other things that the Boflex doesnt offer.
