Damn, you Americans are sooo lucky!

In England, we have to wear uniforms. And they are very stressy about them, you MUST have your shirt tucked in, you MUST have your top button done up. Your tie MUST be at least 5 stripes, which is about just past the belly button.

Also...

Your hair must not be over the eyes.
The hair must not be long enough to touch the collar of your shirt.
Hair cuts can't be shorter than a 3.
You can't grow your stuble out.
Hair must be natural colours.

God! Schools are there to teach, not to control and ruin our lives!

Meh, I never really follow these "rules and regulations" anyway. I only follow them when I either face a detention are suspension.

I swear schools now are focusing more on our apperance than the actual education in which they were made for!

Seriously! Our apperance has no effect on our education AT ALL! Most people i know who don't actually follow these "rules" do amazing in school. Full marks on nearly everything! Including me!

There was no rule about hair in my school...I think its a bit of a prejudice if a school can tell you how long your hair must be.

Yes we have to wear uniforms in primary and secondary schools...but thats only so we dont have to seperate the Poor with the rich depending on their choice of clothing and brand, kids at a young age are little shits and im sure in america kids get ripped on for wearing certain clothes and such..and that probably goes for all other countries without a Uniform rule.

In college we get to wear what we like...thats because at that age we are expected to have atleast some sense of right and wrong, and not to bully others for their differences.

Pluss atleast we get to leave school at 16 legaly and not have to go back into education....I however chose the college route.

Hopefully, in here schools don't have those ridiculous rules that turn every teenager into a complete library rat moron. If my school had those rules, i would simply don't give a shit about them. I'm not imagining myself in a school uniform everyday, short haired.. tied to a fucking tone of rules that contradict my way of thinking/being.

I always dress in black, sometimes wear boots, my hair is long (i'm growing it) and curly, i have long-sharpened (vampire-like) fingernails and i would NEVER cut them off, and today i started wearing my long black coat again (rainy day).
So, i identify with these elements, and i would not erase them from my everyday life just because some moron school director wants to change and control (in a way, it's what they do) the teenager's minds.

Picked up Tenkaichi 3 today. Buying games for me happens rarley because honeslty I only play DBZ and MK. Street fighter would be in there too if they released games more often.

I dont care for games that much, as you can tell. I dont give a shit about any other games.

College is a good idea. But you may have come from the time when long hair was more common, like the hippie age or metal age.

my school had something like this happening it would be considered "a distraction to education" i couldn't tell you how hard i laughed when i heard this was a rule. where i go to school is somewhere in the suberb of chicago thats all im telling you.

my school sucks, we can't have freedom at lunch either and that's the perfect time to be with all your friends during school. but because of a goddamn fight that broke through two years ago, we have these tables where there are eight chais that surrounds the table, you can't move them, and we're not allowed to sit on the window sills... i mean for fucking god's sake what the hell are we going to do to the fucking windows? smash our heads against them until they break? jesus i am so sick of these rules. school is only suppose to last for 6 hours depending if its not a half day... there are suppose to be basic rules not rules to where anything you do even coughing could be considered breaking the rules... i mean come on we're not all stupid here.

haha. We get chairs at our school so we can have a bunch of friends together. Lunchtime at my school is the best... As for the actual classes, not so awesome =/

Exactly, those kind of rules prohibit creativity and productivity....if i went to a school like that, i would break the rules every single day just to encourage rebellion and freedom from that kind of tyranny.
