2. How much of that blunt did you smoke? Just like three weeks ago my best friend had to get drug tested for UPS and he took a few pulls from a blunt, and then four days later got drug tested, and passed. Drink water, do cardio, sweat it out. I don't know the logistics of how long weed stays in your system, I've always been told one to three months, but now I've seen with my own eyes that isn't entirely the whole truth.

Also, the time of thc in the system is relative to how much the person smokes. I'm not a heavy smoker in the first place. I'll just hope for the best and guzzle water and junk.

Oh sorry. Getting drunk and smoking pot right before a drug test for an employment opportunity is an intelligent thing to do. This is definitely a good plan more people should follow to get further in life.

It's been forever since I remember myself or a friend being in this type of situation. Best you can do is drink water or buy one of those "clean urine" supplements sold in head shops and what not. You could spend some time online looking for reviews about the "clean urine" stuff. High Times might be a good place. Not sure though.

This whole thing came about rather unexpectedly, believe it or not. Still it was dumb. I give you that.

Just try to sweat it out man, you'll be good. My friend smoked with me and my brother a day before he took a drug test for Publix. They swabbed his mouth and he still works there til this day.

er..um what? This just seems like an obvious no no and if you've abstained for months on end it makes zero sense to do it so close to then....eh.


From what I hear, those "methods" of evasion rarely if ever work, the only sure fired way to avoid this problem and pass a clean drug test is to do it clean and live clean, we all have our vices, but no vice is worth losing out on employment, you can live without drugs, you cannot however live without suitable employment.

If you don't like their policies, there are other places of employment, I'm sorry to say this, but all this stuff factors into reliability and the impressions they get from drug use is that you are not reliable and a potential liability to their company if something goes sour and could open them up to a lawsuit if one of their employees causes harm to a patron and if you are tested and that's in your system, they're not going to go after just you, but the company you work for as well.

I'm not judging anybody for using drugs, it's not my place to judge people;however, if someone owns a company, they don't want anything and I mean anything to jeopardize their best interests (i.e. profit and potential lawsuits).

Hair, blood or urine test? How often did u smoke before you stopped?

Those are gonna be the major factors that determine wether you pass or not.

THC is detectable in hair for up to 6 months after stopping if usage is chronic. For the other two tests, I do know that if you only use sporadically (as in once a month) it will only stay there like a week tops. if chronic they leave ur system in about a month.

I'm not gonna tell u ur freaking stupid for smoking when u knew u had a drug test.... but i just did >:P hahahha

in all seriousness, there is a fair chance of you passing, especially if urine. If not... they just dont hire u... u dont face any criminal charges or the like, so even tho its hard as FUCK finding a job now days... not getting the job is as bad as it gets in this situation for you.

Ah, I feel like I should add that the drug test my friend passed by a urine test. Hopefully yours is too, that's your best bet. Stay away from the pot until then.

It was a urine test and my piss looked like Capri Sun. Hopefully they can't call shenanigans because of dilution. At least I didn't personally pay for the test if that were to happen.

I think asking for a way to get rid of the THC in your system 3 hours before the test is an exercise in futility, but that's just me... When'll you know the results?

If you don't get the job this time, this should be a good indication to prioritize your life and what matters more to you. If you do get it, I still would do some personal reflection on the subject.


It's not like drug use is inherently a bad thing, but the fact that it is interfering with your ability to potentially get a job is bad, even if you only did it once over a 4 month period. Not to mention, if you really want this job, it has to be causing very great stress to you.
