I met Hector Sanchez at MLG once and beat him at MK9. He gave me a free shirt and signed it.

I met Rich DiVizio, Phillip Ahn M.D. and John Parrish at Galloping Ghost.
Daniel Pesina was there but I sort of have a grudge against him betraying Midway with Bloodstorm, not to mention, he had a shit load of people around him so I couldn't get towards him.

His brother Carlos was supposed to be there too unfortunately he never made it.

Rich though... man he has it rough. He gave both me and my boyfriend advice on how to make it big in the art industry since we're still looking for our dream jobs and such. Phillip didn't seem like he was there to talk to anyone, very quiet I must say. Told him he was my favorite Shang Tsung portrayer in the games and he just smiled and nodded. And John was a riot. He and Rich were just chatting away like crazy and was just too hilarious.

There was another one where they had a few more actors, Kerri was there, I think Sal and a couple more but I couldn't make it unfortunately.

And I remember a long time ago when I was like four or something, I told everyone I met Arnold Schwarzenegger at Disney because they had a Terminator performance and at the time I thought that was the real Arnold.

Heh, no one ever realized that was a fib.

I met a few when I was at Comic Con.

Brandon Routh - The nicest guy there. He was a very positive individual and from what I saw, he didn't just sign autographs and go, "Next." He made sure he treated fans with respect and carried on conversations with them.

CM Punk - He was pretty cool, considering the painful MRSA infection he had at the time. Although, I found it a little strange how a fan next to me in the autograph line tried to shake his hand and he refused, opting to fist bump instead. But the very next day when I got my picture taken with him, Punk immediately extended his hand to give me a handshake. Guess he was in a better mood then. I don't know.

Dolph Ziggler - I don't have much of a story about our meeting, but he was nice too.

Seth Rollins - I dyed my hair blond on the right just like his and he burst out in laughter when he saw me. His exact words were, "Hey! Look at that hair!" It was great. He even pointed at me and had a dramatic expression in the photo I took with him. That was his idea. Not mine. I might post the photo one day.

Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns - I didn't really pay too much attention to them because I was hung up on Seth. <3 But they were more than generous with fans. I will say that Roman is even more beautiful in person.

Jason David Frank - Asshole. He may have been nice to fans, but he spent the majority of his Meet & Greet event talking shit about people he didn't like. He also tried claiming he was good friends with CM Punk and was in the process of setting up a friendly match between the two, which we know now is false since Punk doesn't give two shits about him and is focused on his own career. Biggest disappointment meeting him.

Wow Arnold? ! Was he down to Earth in person? He seems like he would be. I love that video of him smoking a joint in the late 70's or early 80's with all if those people around him. Hehe.

After. He was a guest at an event I attended and afterwards there was the standard photo op. It was kinda funny cause the small group I was in that was allowed to meet him was full of people all excited and everything--it the Pres. after all. Watching people practicing their best "Hello Mr. President" was a bit funny. I've never gotten all star struck when introduced to rather important or well known people. It was simply two dudes meeting each other, saying hello, asking how the other was doing, having a short chat and taking a picture.

He's really cool in person.

And no, no one said anything about his 'issues'. Although that was in the air, people knew better than to say anything. Besides, there was a f*uck ton of secret service there. tongue

Back when I was a kid, my dad took me to the Bears training camp.

I met Jim Harbaugh back when he was on the Bears. He signed a football for me, talked to my dad for a bit. He was a super nice guy.

Trace Amstrong played for the Bears and was also an incredibly nice guy. He was on his way to the locker room at camp and he stopped and talked with us for about twenty minutes. Really cool, personable guy.

The only people on the team that didn't seem to have the time of day for anyone were Steve McMichael and William Perry. The latter actually walked past a bunch of autograph seekers and didn't acknowledge a single person. Who knows, maybe he just had a bad day, or maybe he was a tool (he had that reputation), but who knows.

More recently, I met some Blackhawks players at the first convention. I know that hockey players have a reputation for being mostly cool guys, but everyone my lady and I met were awesome.

Patrick Sharp, Duncan Keith, Dustin Byfuglien, Brian Campbell and then coach Dennis Savard were all amazing, down to earth, friendly people.

When my lady got a picture with Duncan Keith, she asked one of the people next to the photographer if they could take a picture with her phone as well. They did, but they took a bad picture. Their heads were actually cut off lol.

She looked at the picture and said "oh, it didn't come out right." Keith overheard her say that as she was walking away and he said "oh wait, it didn't come out? Hold on, let's do that again." and he politely asked the person to do another one, which came out great. He talked to both of us for a few minutes. She was really happy and that honestly made our day.

All of them talked to us a little bit as well. Byfuglien was a bit shy and awkward, but he was still really nice.

Let's see, other people I've met...

Anna Clumsky from Veep. I actually used to date her best friend back in high school, so we went on a lot of double dates and I got to know her pretty well. I actually missed getting fixed up with her by about a week.

I haven't talked to her in years, so I can't speak to how she is now, but back then, she was incredibly nice, very kind, with a great sense of humor. She had a slight "theater/artistic" quality to her, but certainly not in a bad way. Just a VERY smart person that was dedicated to what she liked doing.

I wish we hadn't lost touch, but I dated her best friend for almost a year and it didn't work out, so I kinda "lost her in the divorce," so to speak lol. I talked to her once after that about the whole breakup thing and she was really kind and supportive. Really awesome person.

Poet Robert Creeley, whose poetry is amazing. Came off like a very warm and friendly college professor almost. Nice guy.

Author Emily Giffin, who my lady enjoys reading. We've been to two of her signings. She asked me if I enjoyed her last book and had to awkwardly tell her that I was just there to support my starstruck lady, which made her laugh. She's super nice, even if she has a slight air of "popular girl in high school" about her. I think she actually remembered my lady and I the second time we met her at a signing, which is crazy because both signings had well over a hundred people at them.

Former Illinois Governor Pat Quinn. Met him a bunch of times while he was governor. Never talked to him at length though, but he seemed like a good person. His son is a really cool guy.

President Obama. Back when he was a Senator, I actually got to shake his hand and talk with him for a moment after he left a large room where he gave a speech. Very nice guy, and not in that sort of fake, political sort of way. He seemed genuinely friendly. I got to listen to his stump speech and even that blew me away. I knew he was going places lol. grin

Ah! My lady and I were going to go to that event and we couldn't because something came up. LOVE Galloping Ghost though. That place is awesome.

Just curious though, you said that Rich "has it rough." Just curious what you meant by that.

Hey man, I still enjoy Impact Wrestling, even if it's sadly not where it was pre-Hogan / Bischoff (sorry, just my opinion), but I enjoy a lot of those wrestlers you mentioned, but I've never met any of them. Closest would be Velvet Sky responding to me on Twiter lol.

Any stories about any of them? Were any of them really cool or kinda shitty or anything like that? Curious how Styles, Angle, Aries, Roode, Storm, Jarrett, Daniels, Kim, Sky and Rayne in particular if you can recall anything.

Hey sorry for the late reply man. AJ Styles- He was awesome. I was wearing my Tapout Tekken shirt that day and he liked my shirt. He told he likes Tekken. We had a good a few minute conversation.

Kurt Angle- Great guy.

Bobby Roode - He's a very serious person but overall very nice guy.

Jeff Hardy- Really cool person. What's so great about him was during his heel run. All the little kids was rooting for him after the match. He spend much time around the arena taking pictures with everyone. I met him backstage after the show.

James Storm - I met him at the afterparty at a club after the house show. He knows how to party I was at the VIP when he had to step out for a moment he told me and the other guys "Not to let anyone through but if you see any big titty women bring them bitches up in there". Awesome guy.

Jeff Jarrett- Met him backstage very nice guy.

Mr. Anderson - Met him over at Times Square in New York. He was doing a interview. After the interview I went up to say hi to him and got a picture with him. Cool guy.

Austin Aries - I met him at the afterparty. He was quiet but too much into himself. Got a picture with him didnt speak to much to him

Gunner- Great guy met him backstage

Christopher Daniels- This guy was awesome I met him at the afterparty.

Robbie E - Met him backstage another nice guy.

Matt Morgan - Got to shake his hand but I wasn't able to get a picture with him because he was in hurry to catch his ride.

Hernandez - Great guy met him backstage

Elijah "The Pope" Burke - He was such a funny guy. He had me and a few guys laughing our asses off backstage.

Gail Kim - This woman was great. When I ask if I can get a picture with her one of the guards said to me in such a rude way No pictures. Gail told that jackass to go F*** Off! I'm glad she told him off and got a picture with her.

Velvet Sky - She was a sweatheart. I met her twice.

Madison Rayne - Another sweetheart she had a great personality.

- Guy Fieri from the Food Network; we live in the same town. Met him at his restaurant years before he was famous. Still see him driving around town here and there.

- Neve Campbell from the Scream movies; sold ride tokens to her at the mini golf course/arcade I worked at and Courtney Cox was a few feet behind her. Super nice, told me she was in town making a horror movie.

- Arnold and his family at Four Seasons in Maui, but only met Maria. Met her in the hotel gym and we shared an elevator later that day. Very nice and down to Earth, a class act.

- Joe Montana; my high school was/is rivals with his kids' high school. Surprisingly he started up a conversation with me and my friend while we were waiting in line for a basketball game. Coolest dude ever!

- Les Claypool of Primus; he lives about 30 minutes from me, but comes to my town once in a while to watch local music. Cool dude, kinda reserved.

- Several famous athletes, most notably Chris Mullin. Huge star in the late 80's/90's with the Golden State Warriors.

I trained at a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy for several years and rolled with a number of fellas who fought in the UFC, most notably owner David Terrell. Tyson Griffin was a regular rolling partner as well. A good friend of mine Nate Loughran had 2 fights in the UFC, but I wouldn't call him famous. Other than that, I've met a shiz load of other UFC fighters around local MMA shows. It's dozens.
