I am agnostic myself, and I think its dumb to use a religon as an argument for anything, why? someone will say "well my god says this" and it becomes a war (yet another reason to be agnositc I don't have to deal with holywars on one side or another unless I want to) religion is a nice belief, but it should never be the backbone of any argument

actually I think lust (which is needed to help create more people) is only a sin if you overdo it, and force someone to have sex with you, like any sin its really just if that part of human nature goes horribly wrong, not the feeling of lust itself

indeed, as i have already said i am agnostic, and i am undecided about religion, but i am more christian than athiest, i believe the rules that the bibles has laid down(if indeed true) are more guide lines and can be broken just not overdone as you have stated ladymage.


But plus for anyother religus people of a difrent sect, i believe to get to the thruth(if indeed it is not false) is to take a wider picture taken all aspects of evry religion into consideration, even satanic beliefs, it is another religius belief afterall.

I do believe in a god but i don't believe in any of the religions for one if there are so many religions how can we tell which is true. In order for me to believe i need definate proof of the truth. Well the reason I ask because lately I've been having this people who call themselves Jehova's witness. They always telling me to do things that are right to God, and that's not a bad thing, but they touched something sacred to me. Well they say violent games is a no no in god's eye. I personally don't believe in most of what they say for a particular reason, but I'll save that for another thread.

Oh dont start on Jehovs Witnesses. Man they come round to our houses and try to convert us. We say its okay thanks dont come back. They always come back though!

They dont celebrate christmas, birthdays and cant have blood transfusions. This is because they take the bible too seriously. It says do not take another mans blood. Most people interpret it as not to injure someone or kill them but they actually disagree with blood transfusions. So if they are injured this could easily be the reason why they die!

Things that serve no meaningful purpouse, and are not "productive" uses of our time are frowned upon. Video games, T.V., basically, anything that takes away from time that could better be spent worshipping God, is frowned upon by him.

I am a catholic and I beleive in God. I think that some Muslims have a very shameful outlook on the world and how they think in terms of God. No God would like to see people dying with explosions and war. I think that the human race is slowly starting to become extict. Not many people have morals anymore. When you see a young girl swearing at her mother and father, and them letting her get away with it, it saddens me. The world is not a very nice place. But lucky their are some people in the world that are good people, people that have respect. People that know right from wrong.
It is these type of people that help maintain a little bit of balance.But i Fear the scales in life will be overweighed by the Druggo's, Rapists,terrorists, some day. Bringing the world into disripute.

Muslims do not have a very shameful outlook on the world and how the think in terms of God. Its just some so called "Muslims" twist words from their Religion to make it sound like what they are doing is justified. A lot of Muslims condemn the actions of these people and say that they are not even muslims for doing this.

Same goes for some factions of christianity, and different cults. They take God's words, and interpret them in a way that "justifies" their twisted beliefs.

Al Quaida, Taliban, Poligamists, Mormans, Jehovah's Witnesses... They're all examples of twisted interpretations of God's word. Not all are extreme, and as violent as Al Quaida, the Taliban, and other cults though.
