SWEET! I thought that that movie was so cool, and I'm not even a fan of horror movies (does Resident Evil count?)! I hope that they do make one "Vs. Ash" because I think that Bruce Campbell (sp?) is a good actor, and that Ash would be a very cool character to have featured with Freddy and Jason.

i know..how the hell do u not know of ash from evil dead 1 and 2..also army of darkness.. if u have not seen them watch them..its a great trilogy..!! i thought army of darkness was the best!!!
they r so going to make a 2nd and prolly a 3rd f vs j just based on the fact that the 1st 1 made so much $$$$$!!!

I would prefer if Freddy and Jason fought again and also battled against Michael Myers. I don't know much about the Evil Dead series but I might change my opinion after I rent one of the movies from Blockbuster.

I thought the first movie but the odds were stacked up against Freddy at the end. I honestly thought that Freddy was going to win untill that girl blasted him into Crystal Lake.

I've heard that they are going to make a franshise out of Freddy VS Jason but there will be a sequel in October 2005.

So far I've heard Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash seems the most likely.

I've also heard that there they are considering negotiating to get Freddy vs. Jason vs. Myers.
Myers seems like the more logical choice, but to be honest, I really don't see how he could last in a fight against Freddy or Jason, let alone both at once. No offense to Myers fans, but I've seen every Halloween, and I think he'd beaten into the ground.

Michael Myers is not even in the same league as Freddy or Jason. I mean yeah, he's like a ninja when he disappears after getting hit by a car or something, but he's too passive. The only way he could fair best against the both of em is to sneak up behind them every time and that ain't gonna happen. Especially against Freddy!

I don't think that they will or should have Micheal Myers in the FvJ thing. First off, how they hell would he fit into the plot. Second, he is a passive type murderer, but he's super stong and it's super hard to kill him think about all thats happened to him falling out of tall windows, multiple gunshots and stabwounds and burnt enough to kill a normal person. I think he would hold his grounds, but the only problem is that he is not ficticous enough.

I don't know because I haven't seen those movies, it's as simple as that... I was a big fan of the Nightmare On Elm Street and Friday the 13th back in the 80's and I grew up with them but now I feel like I'm a bit too old to watch *same-old, same-old* horror movies since nowadays they're all about semi-naked teenagers running around and getting killed in stupid situations. Luckily I no longer need to watch movies to see women with large breasts having a shower (that would be before they bleed to death).

JASON kills for his drowning... revenge, anger... he has too many emotions controlling him...

Freddy-kills for enjoyment and Revenge for the parents that killed him. He's 1 sick s.o.b... Again more emotions...

Michael-kills just for the sake of it. He shows no anger no pain no enjoyment no revenge. He just kills. Yeah his goal is to kill off his family, but he still shows no emotions because of it... he's under control by the druids... No emotions to get in the way!! This makes him deadlier then the rest!!!

DamRho- if that's how u feel then evil dead 1,2 and army of darkness are for u!! watch them..

I absolutely HATE the idea of Ash or Michael being in Freddy VS Jason 2. I wasnt very thrilled when i heard that. They could do so much better without them being in it.

Despite how much i thought Freddy VS Jason was entertaining, there was HUGE flaws and let downs. There were alot of scenes i wasnt impressed with at all. Jason was NOT supposed to be tamed down at all, i almost flipped when i saw him portrayed as a sad, lonely, "good" type goon. Jason is a fuckin BEAST, a MONSTER that brutally slays anyone or anything that gets in his way. Also, why they chose to not let him kill the children at the end in beyond me. Jason was way to tamed, and Freddy was way to annoying, as well as to humourous. I couldnt even count how many times he said the word "BITCH" in that movie.....Jeebus, talk about good dialogue. A true horror fan would know exactly what i'm talking about. Also, it was absolutely ridiculous how Freddy even stood a chance against Jason in the real world.

Lastly, Ken isnt supposed to portray Jason, KANE is. Thats right, Kane Hodder IS Jason, and nobody else. Kane shows just how Evil and Mean Jason really is.

Hopefully Freddy VS Jason 2 wont be to much of a let down like Freddy VS Jason was (btw, i dont hate F vs J, thought it was an AWESOME movie, but there were things that were god awful in it).

I pray that Kane gets the role of Jason, because Ken sucks IMO. And hopefully Ash/Michael WONT be in F VS J 2, though the chances of that happening is pretty slim.

I love the evil dead series, but Ash just doesnt belong in F VS J. And Michael isnt the fighting type like Jason and Freddy, hes more of a silent stalker. Jason would pretty much tear him apart, because mikey's slow and not as strong as Jason. Though, Michael PWNZ Freddy easily in the real world.

OK, I'm even gonna rent them if I find them. But if this turns out to be something in the likes of Jeepers "I start well and then drown like a giant coconut" Creepers someone is gonna pay me back my 5 euros.... hehe I'll rent Freddy VS Jason while I'm at it since I haven't had the chance to watch it yet.

I liked Freddy vs. Jason too, but I totally agree with what you said about Jason being too tame. That was the only thing that bothered me. IN the dream, Freddy owns Jason no question, but in the real world, Jason should have broken Freddy in half.
And yes, Kane Hodder is the only true Jason.

And Michael Myers really wouldn't work. He's slower, weaker and much less durable than Jason.
And considering that Michael Myers cried in Halloween 5 because his niece called him "uncle" and got his ass kicked by Busta Rymes in the latest one.....I don't buy him as a fighter.

I absolutely LOVED FvsJ. But i too think that Jason was too goodie and tame adn Freddy was a little to jokester for me. Don't add another person to the mix made another movie and make it darker and scarier. And Let Freddy kill more people. It could always be darker and I look forward to the next (without a third wheel).

Michael Myers. He is my personal favorite and scarrier than the other two because he has never officially died. They have always foung a way to have him survive the end of the movie. He hasn't been brought back by supernatural means and therefore scares me a little more. Freddy is too comical and has lost his ability to scare me much anymore and Jason can still scare me but he's too unreal anymore to be superscarry. Michael is still portrayed as a real hasn't died yet person with a pissy attitude. 20 years and they're still making those masks. Must be popular huh?

Micheal really isnt a fighter, he just fucking takes peopel and crushes them with his will.

Now, I loved that fuckin movie and I liked the guy that portrayed Jason. Kane Hotter would have got the role, but they wanted someone way bigger to fill the role.

And what do you mean he's not sad, lonely, and all that stuff. That is how he lives for gods sake. All he is doin is "punishing" the kids that go there.
